    A bloop single isn't exactly "getting in gear", but I'll gladly take it. Soriano making contact should be considered an improvement at this point.

    Easily the best win of the year. A win like this has the potential to be a huge turning point in the season. Hopefully with the Indians struggling we can get on a roll here.

    Chicago Cubs - Nothing. Chicago Bears - One Super Bowl appearance in (06-07) Lost to Colts. Orlando Magic - Two NBA Finals appearances (94-95, 08-09) Lost to Rockets, Lakers. Tampa Bay Lightning - Stanley Cup Champions (03-04) Defeated Flames. Iowa Hawkeyes Football and Basketball - Nothing. Was born after Super Bowl XX, so the only championship I have is the Lightning in 03-04. I did, however, get one extra year to enjoy it due to the 04-05 NHL season being cancelled lol.

    Indians lead the Brewers 1-0 on a Mark DeRosa solo HR. Please bring him back Jim.

    Soriano is not going to break out of this slump until he goes back to taking pitches like he was earlier this year. He is swinging at everything right now, particularly sliders low and away. There is no reason for pitchers to throw him anything else right now. You've heard him say himself before that the key to his success is swinging at strikes and he hasn't been doing that for awhile now.

    I don't have faith that this organization will do anything about Miles. Even Freel would be a better option at this point.

    I saw that. Interesting. At least he can go down feeling good about his last start even though his performance was largely due to the fact that our offense is horrible.

    Hopefully a trade but I doubt it. We just need a new player or two, and not from our farm system. Obviously team chemistry is off with the current way the team is setup.

    Do you really not see the difference in the 2? Yeah, one had a bad game but has been a legit hitter over his career, and the other is a white Neifi Perez Bad game? How bout 1 was signed for 30 million dollars to be the starting RF and stud middle of the order bat, who hasnt done much of anything this year, and had his head up his ass yesterday, and the other was signed to be a backup infielder. Backup is the key word. I wouldn't have as much of a problem with Miles if he wasn't starting everyday. Scales should not have been sent down.
