  1. After 13 straight wins, the Mavs lose at home to the Knicks by 34 points. How the hell does that even happen?
  2. Ha. Are you kidding? He ran over and jumped INTO him. He wasn't even making a play on the ball. That's a dirty play. If you watch, Howard actually pulls his arms back away from Rose. He was just going in to make body to body contact. Lets assume for a minute that he did jump into him. Isn't that how a large number of fouls occur every game? My point still stands about the size. If its anyone other than the point guard, they probably don't even fall down. Also, if Rose doesn't injure his wrist, we're not even having this discussion right now. Would Bulls fans be complaining about the foul if Rose had finished the game with no injury?
  3. that [expletive] is dirty as hell. You know, after rewatching, it was dirty. Howard wasn't even going for the ball. So jumping straight up in the air is dirty now? If thats Noah instead of Rose, he probably doesn't even fall down. It was the result of a massive differential in size. I'm sure the same could/would happen if Nelson or Williams drove on Noah.
  4. that [expletive] is dirty as hell. Looked like a clean foul to me.
  5. Trading our starting 2nd basemen for a reliever coming off a 1.50 WHIP season? No thanks. If we're going to trade for a reliever, I'd prefer someone like Luke Gregerson.
  6. I think someone needs to remind the Bucks that they've been one of NBA's worst franchises over the past 20 years.
  7. So now that Jones is gone, which of Bell, Peterson, and Wolfe make the team? I think Peterson is a FA now right?
  8. Why do you have Nady on the DL? Did I miss something?
  9. If this is true then I don't really see the Bears' logic. Taylor and Forte have had around the same ypc the past two seasons, with Taylor running behind a better O-Line. Taylor is also six years older, and excels more in the passing game which screams third down back. I suppose one could argue that Taylor has taken less of a beating the past two years due to having half as many carries as Forte, but I'll still take the guy who is 24 as my starter with there not being a large difference in talent.
  10. I'm pretty sure Forte will still be the starter and I think Aromashodu has earned a starting spot over Bennett. Omiyale and Beekman could still go either way (this organization is high on Omiyale for some reason) and hopefully Manning gets benched due to signing a FA like Atogwe or Clark. You also forgot TEs, which is right now probably the hardest position to project. I'll say Manumaleuna, Dez Clark, and Davis. All I ask is that we get something valuable in return for Olsen.
  11. I realized today how atrocious our bullpen is going to be this year. I'm not just saying that because of this game either. Guzman going down is not good.
  12. Although I will point out that this four-run inning was probably more of a reflection of how bad Aaron Heilman is.
  13. Our farm system is looking better all the time. I know ST doesn't mean much, but it can't hurt.
  14. We're not getting Rolle. And no I'd rather have Taylor than Westbrook. Westbrook is a concussion away from retiring. Fair enough. I do think Taylor is overrated on this board though.
  15. This is exciting. Peppers and Rolle would be fantastic. Wouldn't hurt to sign someone like Burleson either. What's the latest on Westbrook? If he's healthy I prefer him to Taylor to be honest.
  16. All we have to do is win an NLDS and things will be back to how they were then.
  17. Although the only ST game that excites me is the first one, its still great to have baseball back. Anyone know if Nady is expected to get playing time at all?
  18. 11-11 FG for Dwight tonight. His free-throws are improving too.
  19. This is true, but even if he gets halfway back to where he was, hes better than Forte. If nothing else this team is in need of a solid back to split carries with Forte. I suppose Bell was decent.
  20. Am I the only one who thought Two Towers was better than Return of the King? The 90-minute-long invasion of Helm's Deep was fantastic.
  21. Yeah, he is still useful with the bat when hes healthy. I just think its funny how the guy was an injury-free stolen base machine until he signed in 2007. This has been pointed out an endless amount of times but it still irks me. Only the Cubs. Oh well, give me a healthy, productive, championship-propelling Xavier Nady and we'll call it even. :pig:
  22. LT please. When you have a mediocre running back like Forte, you take a chance on a guy who was the best RB in the NFL less than three years ago.
  23. So they opted for surgery on his knee just to coddle his delusions? My point is we'll probably never see him go 100% because his fear of re-injury. We've been through this before with him.
