I really respect that. That said, for those who thought that, is it too early to concede? Or was the thought he wouldn't even provide two good months of quality? ETA: For the record, I'm also a big man. And I liked it from the start mostly because I liked how they really got him for $13 million by making the Rangers take back a broken pitcher.

As down as I get on this team, I still marvel at your bizarre declarations. I was surprised when he wrote this would be a big collapse........the Cubs were up 3-0 in the sixth inning and Schwarbs made it seem like it was Game 6 all over again. I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong and others agreed.

Man, they're only doing this because Zobrist is likely gone. horsefeathers them for doing something they should have done BEFORE THE SEASON STARTED. True, but aren't you surprised they aren't just pocketing the savings?

I love that even when we have owners who don't want to spend we are still signing a big free agent every year. And that's not meant to be sarcastic. This has a good chance to blow up like Heyward and Darvish, but I'd rather them just spend money than prospects on trying to find a closer.

I wonder if someone is going on the IL? Javy maybe? Maybe, but if not I would just assume Jim Adduci is going back down. Left handed outfielder replacing a left handed outfielder. Yeah, pretty sure that's all it is. The plan for Cargo after signing him was to let him get a few swings in Triple A and then bring him up as quickly as possible. A good swap. -
I feel we need to aim higher than that. Mark Cuban had to pay $10 million to women's leadership and domestic violence organizations because he was the owner of an organization that employed people who made life hell for the women who worked there.

We should have won two of three in this series considering it was the Astros' Triple A lineup throughout, but at least we won one.

There are 30ish members with "custom" monikers, though half of them are along the lines of "my old username was XXX" Apparently Roast's is "Maximo Ali" Another random bug: my sig only works in the sports forums. It doesn't show up in the social areas. Another interesting thing. My log in doesn't work on my phone. So I had to make a new account just to be able to read game threads when I'm not on a laptop.

The mods used to be able to update those status things, but I believe the feature mysteriously broke long, long ago, so I am stuck forever licking butts. HAHAHAHAHA. I never realized yours until right now. So they are the ones who named Kyle the "Hairyducked Idiot," I assume.
