I suppose it's OK to have the discussion considering it's a message board, but there is a zero percent chance Heyward opts out. I'm just enjoying that he's having a solid season and at least one of the final five years of his contract wasn't terrible offensively. I would like to see them trade for a quality CF if that's even possible just so we can put him in RF every game, where he becomes an even better all-around player. Not sure what the metrics say, but I still don't love him in CF. ETA: Also, in the juiced ball year, are J-Hey's numbers even that good, or just good for J-Hey?
