  1. OK for real, the Cubs need to score four to six runs this inning.
  2. I feel like this is a game-changing at-bat which is stupid.
  3. Bryant kind of going through that power outage he had to start his career. (Noted that he had one robbed on Monday.)
  4. KB probably shouldn't have even swung until this guy proves he can throw strikes.
  5. Worth a shot; let's bring Aramis along for a little extra help. Thatta boy.
  6. This is an impossible opinion to disagree with. It might as well be a fact. I just can't see the Angels GM trading us Trout right now and telling Theo he wants either Bryant or Javy in the package but that he will let Theo decide which one.
  7. It's all just coincidence, but the Cubs started winning again when Sofa changed his picture back to Starlin. Then he was sort of peer pressured into changing it. And then the Cubs started losing again. I wouldn't mind seeing Starlin back just to see if they start winning again.
  8. How is my side of the arguement any different than multiple posters coming at me or stating their opinion? You're an idiot the bold is the issue. or was, now your last sentence is the issue. I was a bit insulted by your comment to me the other day but I felt I handled it well at least.
  9. I like the other version of [expletive] the closer a lot better. cobs are 19-42 since that story ran go cobs That doesn't count yesterday's loss.
  10. I like the other version of horsefeathers the closer a lot better.
  11. Nobody is untouchable. Id trade our untouchables 1 for 1 for Trout & probably Harper. I say only probably Harper because KBs positional value & contract might make them close. But off top of my head id still make the deal and run with Javy at 3b. Bryant would be a hard no for Harper. As you pointed out with the contract, Harper has two years of control left and Bryant five. Not even close.
  12. It's easy to forget, but the offense this time last year was like this every night. This ain't nothing.
  13. Would be shocked if the Cubs don't take the lead this inning.
  14. The White Sox have never won a challenge. They are 0-for-82.
  15. Well, I guess I'm the last one off the Heyward bandwagon.
  16. Is there an easy to find stat to see how many times the Cubs have trailed to start a game? It seems like we are playing from behind a lot recently but I could be way wrong.
  17. I 100 percent respect you for this position. But now that the Cubs are part of the problem, it feels like you too are part of the problem if you watch another game this season or do anything to support them. You're trying to guilt someone who objects to domestic violence? You are an ass. Try doesn't matter. Huh. No, was just pointing out that if we want to take a real stand and talk about how we have gotten to this point in part because of how we treat athletes and try to explain away their DV issues, that we need to step up and do something about that. We are part of the problem. We are angry at the Cubs for trading for this man but continue to give them our money. DV is awful and we should stop watching until he's off the team or we are in part the problem. Sorry if that makes me an ass.
  18. When J-Hey gets a hit here we send the runner no matter what.
  19. The White Sox blow a lot of leads. I don't even pay attention to them and I know they blow a lot of leads.
