he missed 2 games with a mcl injury but played last week. my guess is he is just tired of playing. he's been doing it for 13+ years http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/breaking/chi-report-kreutz-quits-saints-20111021,0,3135476.story I don't know if it's true, Cowherd mentioned it today on his radio show, but apparently Kreutz will get $25k a month through his NFL pension upon retiring. Kreutz's body is already falling apart according to Cowherd, with that pension on top of already making millions of dollars through a NFL career I'd get out too if I was Kreutz while my body hasn't completely fallen apart.

Very cool thanks for the video. Lake looks/reminds me a lot of Castro at the plate seeing that video. Everything from his stance and swing all the way to his body type.

I don't know how easily tradeable he is, he would make almost $10m this and has a career ERA+ of 96 and WHIP of 1.424. I think this is more the case of a team with a $40m payroll not wanting to spend 1/4 of it on a pitcher who isn't that good. That being said I think the Cubs should show some interest and would be fine bringing him on for the right price. -
i guess i'll accept that It would be so bizarre if he did this. Marketing/PR move to keep the meatheads happy while Theo can focus on rebuilding the organization from the minors up and hopefully have a consistent winner starting in a few years.

While I don't think a title will or should be the deciding factor in getting Epstein, the Ricketts seem to be pretty happy with Kenney both personally and professionally as president in everything I have read or seen. So they will have to go against how they feel about Kenney or make another position for him if Theo wants the president title also.
