    He's an integral part of "The Plan" the rest of the year. I say he gets at least a few more starts. yeah, i'd give beeler, wada, hendricks and maybe jokisch at least a few starts each. good time to figure out if any of these guys can be a solid back-end starter. I was referring more to the unintentional, intentional tank plan the rest of the year. But also what you said, though more so for Wada and Hendricks. Beeler is garbage.

    Yup and I believe that it also lines up with when a new CBA (and I think new national TV deal) will be in place and likely a new pay scale structure which could result in being able to get a much larger contract.t

    What is there to "catch on to?" Trying to get something from guys having down years or coming off of injuries/surgeries and the like is nothing new; even Hendry tried to do it, so it's not like the FO has stumbled across something new that everyone is slapping their foreheads for not figuring this out before. I just went and looked, I thought Hammel's peripherals last season were much better than they were. You're right, I don't see anything other than our guys being good at picking the right guys here.     What? Once you sign a deal isn't your leverage for demanding a trade way down? I assumed they weren't talking this year necessarily Yeah that's kinda how I took it, I think once you sign it has to be a explicit S&T or straight up resign. Once you sign you can't be traded until some point during the next season (want to say sometime in November).

    And there is a completely realistic scenario that could take place that puts SA in the lead and most attractive place to him. The tweet makes sense. Carmelo resigns in NY, the Bulls roll with the current roster+Mirotic/rookies, Pau realizes he doesn't want to play for Scottie [expletive] Brooks and has no faith he can game plan effectively to win a title and/or Thunder stay cheap and don't amnesty Perkins or add other FA, and then he realizes he's not playing with broken down Nash + potentially broken down Kobe and his contract with no chance at a title the next 2 years. All of the sudden the Spurs are pretty attractive and likely in the lead.
