  1. Probably, isn't that roughly the sam timeline as Bryant? He would have more games at Daytona than Bryant did. "Rainouts"
  2. Probably, isn't that roughly the sam timeline as Bryant?
  3. Stanton kinda has a tiny face.
  4. Is there gonna be ASG thread?? If not, the classiest team in baseball bing classy.
  5. http://i.imgur.com/bL9z2DA.gif
  6. It does, maybe try and move Randolph or Dunleavy to clear up room to add a backup or trade for one?
  7. I'm guessing they are planning on some combination of Taj/Mirotic being able to play some SF and Pau playing some C? Or else that's an incredible log jam at PF if that's the only spot you play Taj/Mirotic. I like the potential offensive spacing a Rose/Butler or Snell/McDermott/Mirotic/Pau lineup or a Rose/McDermott/Taj/Mirotic/Pau lineup could provide.
  8. Still cleared space, maybe the idea is to let Parsons take Dallas' offer and go after some combo of Deng, Bledsoe, Thomas, Pau or Lance
  9. Yes, classy....
  10. Lin+future 1st to the Lakers. That's nearly $50 million tied up in just Nash, Kobe and Lin this year. Nash ($9.7), Kobe ($23.5) and Lin ($15, though only like 7 counts towards the cap).
  11. If Wade is butt hurt enough maybe he takes a big enough cut to go to a team to take down LBJ? Knowing he can't do it in Miami anymore.
  12. Ha ha, you think Portland and Golden State are "better or as good" as a team with LeBron James-Kevin Love-Kyrie Irving? Yes, especially Portland. I think they matchup up very well with the Love/Kyrie/LBJ team.
  13. Even if they add Love I don't see the Cavs being some unstoppable team that people are saying. If/when they get Love they are going to have little depth (probably giving up 1 of Waiters/Wiggins and 1 of Bennett/Thompson) and limited money to add pieces, Kyrie/Love/Varejao can't stay healthy, and their defense outside of LBJ is pretty [expletive] awful. I think a handful of teams in the West are better or as good (SAS, HOU, LAC, GS, POR, possibly Dallas depending who else they add) and Chicago, Indiana and even a team like the Hawks will/could compete with them in the East.
  14. Wade alone in Miami? Awesome. Hopefully, you'd think Bosh takes the max with Houston today and then they re-sign Parsons
  15. Philly can take on a ton of money. They were talking about Amare. I know they have a ton, but I was just saying they might be happy with not taking on anything more than Lin's $15 million (I know it only counts as like 7 or 8 but they still have to pay the 15).
  16. Utah, Milwaukee, and Philly should all make sense and be interested. Though Hou-Philly reportedly have a Lin deal in place if/when Bosh signs there so they might be happy calling it a day on taking on salary after that.
  17. They took it down like 3 days ago, finally. I don't believe there were any blatant racist remarks in it, but I remember some people got on Gilbert for the slave owner-slave/property undertones.
  18. Advanced pitching prospects are supposed to struggle in the low levels... Pitching in the California League - and Lancaster, at that - can't help. Yeah, I think Law addressed Appel in his chat yesterday. Basically what he's heard/seen is that his stuff is fine velo and break/movement wise, he really thinks a lot of this is where he's pitching and that he should be moved up even if he isn't quite ready just to get him the hell out of those places. Fwiw, I don't completely buy that.
  19. Alex Gonzalez, learn how to field a routine GB
  20. Advanced pitching prospects are supposed to struggle in the low levels...
  21. Didn't he do this last year? Pretty much was Brett Jackson for the first 1/2ish of the year and then turned into a mini Soler the rest of the year? Um, no? I was over emphasizing his season, but wasn't his 2nd half a stark difference from his first half?
  22. I know he's not a masher like those guys are/should be but Castro is looking like he will be a ~20 HR guy, while not a huge number that's still good for the current offensive environment. Only 60 guys hit 20 or more HR's last year.
  23. I'm in Sheboygan County, WI the only green area there along Lake Michigan surrounded by yellow. I feel my 40-60 votes swayed the voter there as well.
  24. Just start throwing all the pitcher salary portion of the budget into developing some super steroid or PED that's untraceable and makes tendons/ligaments nearly indestructible, then once that's done start acquiring pitchers and begin force feeding them the concoction.
