    I'm in a NBA sim league and we use AIM for conducting our drafts and what not. I didn't know it existed until 1 year ago when I was asked to join the league and was told that's what they use.

    I'm hopeful for McDermott but Korver would absolutely torch the summer league. Based on summer league we had our two playmaking ball handlers in Goudelock and Teague. The summer league means less than nothing. Isn't McDermott 6'5? Who is he gonna post up? And seriously he's gonna be a catch and shoot guy why do people expect him to better than Kyle Korver? He's 6'8"-6'9"

    I wonder if the plan may be to just have him play the OF the rest of the year so the bat can play/he doesn't wear out. Then have him work on catching stuff in the offseason.

    Trout's fWAR, in either of his first two seasons, has been higher than any single season in Jeter's whole career. Also Trout's fWAR at the ASB this year, 5.5, would be tied for the 5th highest mark Jeter ever put in his career.

    Assuming they stay on their rough pace the rest of the year, after this year Trout will have already complied +/- 40% of the fWAR Jeter did in his WHOLE CAREER. 31 vs 75

    I'm looking forward to Buck's subtle digs at each of them. There's no way he doesn't mention Castro's "habitual laziness/lack of concentration" either in his first AB or when he comes in as a defensive sub.

    It...hurts. I get why we did it, I support why it was done, seeing Harden's debut for the Cubs live is one of my favorite things ever (not counting Marmol's implosion)...but holy [expletive], I need to stop myself from looking at Donaldson's numbers. It's been like 8 years since we traded him you goon I KNOW, BUT IT SUCKS. The Harden trade 10000000% made sense and was the right thing to do at the time. You just pray that nobody you have up in those types of deals turns out to be awesome...and he did. Wait! He's been horrible for June and July! NEVERMIND. Hahah a .455 OPS since June 7th He had something like a 0-31 stretch sometime in June, iirc

    Even knowing what Donaldson has turned into, I'd still do the Harden trade. He was so good and gave us a chance to make a deep playoff run.

    I'd say LAL, OKC, LAC (if they have or make room), HOU, and CLE all could have a spot for/would be a decent fit for him if he comes on a cheap 1 or 2 year deal.

    I think he's a pretty decent comp for Baez all around, think Baez will have a little more power and less average/SB than him. They both swing like they are heavily invested in a chiropractic firm also.

    What, if any, kind of physicals/MRIs/etc. are done before the draft that teams are given to look at on players?

    I still think it ran longer than the allotted time in the channel guide, regardless of the rain delay. So even if it would have started as planned it would have gone over by a good amount of time. I want to say my guide had it scheduled for 2 hours (7-9 ct) and it started around 8 and went to nearly 11.

    Don't the Indians kinda do this with Santana? He plays 3B/1B most of the time but plays catcher once a week?
