i doubt he is at all he is a big weirdo and eats this stuff up didn't he jump in to KB's mvp thing when they streamed from his house Yeah he loves it, I've said it before but he's Cushman's dad in real life from Jerry Maguire
And he's dead. Just threw a pitch and his arm went limp and he was grabbing his arm pit/shoulder area, left the game. https://twitter.com/NickR83/status/858749407289888769
He's a really good player no doubt, but idk if you are ever really winning with him as your highest or 2nd highest paid player. A championship? How many players would you even say that about? We're not winning championships for as long as LeBron and the Warriors exist. There aren't many.... but yeah meant a championship. Or at least ability to get to conference finals. I don't think Blake helps with either, him and Jimmy could basically do what the Clippers have done the last few years and then you're stuck with the cap basically. That's fine. Just don't think he's a guy you need to get with the goal of really winning. Also a big guy with his injury history scares me, especially when he relies so much on athleticism
I think the one knock on his defense is his arm is average at best, though we got by with Fowler out there the last 2 years and he has one of the worst arms in CF in MLB.
That's pretty crazy, though I don't know how much power the Mets have to make him get it other than refusing to let him pitch before he has one. Seems like there's some tension there with Syndergaard, apparently he went at it with a Mets PR person/reporter after the game the other day.
He's had a weird career vs LHP, some years he's been entirely acceptable and even pretty good. In 2010 he had a .755 OPS, 2013 .801, 2015 .704, then in 2014, 2012 and 2011 he hap OPS's in the .400s, .500s and 600s vs them.
