  1. Super teams are good for the NBA and condensing the talent is better than having one star surrounded by a bunch of horsefeathers players.
  2. The Lakers now have the best odds to win the championship this year. Lol. There’s value in betting the Warriors right now
  3. We’re gonna have a top 10 system within like 18 months, aren’t we? Lol
  4. Go away you idiot [tweet] [/tweet]
  5. I don’t think we line up well for DeGrom or Syndergaard, it would take 2 if Happ, Javy and Willy probably. They should wait until the offseason to trade them though, imo and probably should hold on to them. I like Lugo and Gsellemen as matches for us if they do blow it up.
  6. Theo’s trades for and picked up a lot of players for just about every reason, but to get a guy to get him away from racist, hillbilly, red asses will be a first.
  7. Rizzo is going to start a fight after the ASB series and we are gonna carry Dex off like Ross in the World Series and take him back and make the Cardinals pay him still.
  8. Willy would fun to have a beer with because there’s a likelihood you end up drinking 20 with him and wind up waking up in Vegas or something crazy
  9. That’s my thinking as well. Let Ingram grow another year, Kuzma is a nice wing player to pair with Lebron and Lonzo I still like. Also do a 1 year deal for Boogie. Enough to be interesting, not enough to win. Make sure Ingram doesn’t really take another huge leap and get a guy or two next year when the picture is clearer on what the young guys are. Lonzo, Kwahi or Klay, Lebron, Kuzma, Ingram and Randle would let you do a lot of Warriors like things. I just hope they’re patient and Lebron bought in to it for the year instead of false title hopes. if you trade for kawhi this year you have a good shot at winning the title this year and you nip the possibility of him being traded to someone that can talk him into staying like OKC did with george also, lebron is great but i don't think you can just burn seasons with him at this point They’re the third best team in their own conference with Kawhi and probably still behind at least one of the Celtics or Sixers in the East. They don’t have a good shot, imo.
  10. If they could pull it off they could’ve ended up with any combination of the guys i mentioned for only money the next 2 offseason and still kept the young guys to have a really complete team with better longevity instead of shorting a window by trading most off to get Kwahi now. Yeah, in an ideal world, you have LeBron this year, bring back Randle and see how the young guys progress. Then bring in another free agent next year. Not sure if LeBron is okay essentially punting on winning a title next year (he should be because they aren’t beating the Warriors next year anyway). That’s my thinking as well. 11. As a Laker fan I don’t think so for this year and I absolutely hate this direction. Lebron, Kwahi and whatever young guys they have left + vet mins is not enough to win the West and they’re screwing up building a long term team here. They are locked in to Lebron until he’s 37/38 now. Sign him this offseason fine, but don’t trade everyone for Kwahi. Wait until next year when Kwahi, Klay, AD, Durant and others are FA then you have all these interesting young dudes plus 2-3 other FA and a much more complete team. You hate this direction? Any decent player will be throwing themselves at the Lakers for pennies on the dollar to play for the Lakers especially if the get Leonard. I know LeBron is getting old but having LeBron locked in for 3 years is not bad. I really don’t see a direction the Lakers could have taken that gave them better odds of contending in the next 3 years. They are not at all good enough right now but they got the most important part If they could pull it off they could’ve ended up with any combination of the guys i mentioned for only money the next 2 offseason and still kept the young guys to have a really complete team with better longevity instead of shorting a window by trading most off to get Kwahi now.
  12. Yeah no, this never happened A wild and crazy DSL HR still doesn’t cover that Marquez wasn’t particularly good last year when there were fences for the ball to go over. It’s not the end of the world to not have every box checked for a TOR type prospect at a healthy 19. There’s so many roles for pitchers, especially a healhy lefty, that there’s more ways to make an impact. Why isn’t 3 HR in ~45 good? And 1 in ~55 the year before? Or at least why is that a huge wart and worry?

  14. I've been thinking about Jonathan Lucroy. A Treinen/Lucroy package would be ideal (even Cahill added in). Beane seems like he’d potentially value a guy like Bote a little more than others, same with Zagunis. Obviously will take more prospects but think there “could” be building blocks there to something.

  16. That was his first HR given up this year and didn’t seem to have a problem with them the last two years, what am I missing?
  17. We add Kris horsefeathering Bryant to this behemoth, this week. Lol
  18. :flythew: #WeAreGood :flythew: Never in doubt
  19. It’s crazy that Schwabrer ball didn’t get through, he hit it at like 112 MPH
