Remember when the Cubs used to work the count night after night. Yep, good things happens when your team gets on base a lot due to BBs. 2016 Walk rate: 10.3% 2017 Walk rate: 9.9% 1st half 2018 walk rate: 9.7% 2nd half 2018 walk rate: 7.9% #chilieffect? Probably more to do with Almora, Caratini and Russell playing so much in the 2nd half and Javy to a lesser extent since he’s playing a little more than past years and should be but isn’t walking while Bryant, Schwarber, And Heyward all missed time.

Tired of the excuses. What was the last QB that was so terrible in his first 15 games that at some point reached his full potential value? I can't think of any. Goff and Wentz were pretty bad in their first ~15 starts, right? -

I’d rather risk he only gets two ABs hitting 4/5/6 but has runners on to maximize his contact ability vs guaranteeing he gets 1 AB a game with nobody on since he doesn’t really get on base.
