Not to mention you'd then have to go find someone who is actually better than Joe and I'm not sure that's a likely thing either. Yeah, I’ve already said it but that’s my biggest concern/fear with letting Joe go. I think it’s far more likely we end up with someone worse than someone better. Or at best we find a guy who’s better than Joe at some thing(s) and worse than him at others and it’s just shifting value around. I’ll take Joe’s ability to run a clubhouse and be a CEO with managing the atmosphere, mental side, etc over a marathon season and his bullpen and lineup shortcomings over just about any other trade off.
