  1. :flythew: #HatsToTheLeft I liked how Pedro was manipulating velo on the slider today. Think he was between 80 and 89 on it. FB velo seems a tick down though, a few 94s but a lot of 92-93. He can probably get by throwing 94 if it’s located. 92-93 is a little concerning.
  2. If Heyward wants to get on a heater for a month or so here that would be swell
  3. We need a bat so badly. Even just a guy who has good platoon splits, it doesn’t need to be a star and I don’t care if it’s good splits vs LHP or RHP. I don’t think we should be using the big prospect capital we have to add right now but there’s enough guys in the Giambrone type level of prospects to find and get a platoon type bat.
  4. Hopefully Almora turned his ankle on that jump and has to be IL’d
  5. yet is somehow the 2nd or 3rd fastest guy on the team. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/sprint_speed_leaderboard?year=2019&position=&team=CHC&min=10 His in-game speed sure as hell seems slow though These numbers are lies
  6. Almora needs to go too, he’s horsefeathering miserable
  7. It’s as much on Theo as it’s on Joe, he has like 18 major league players on the roster right now
  8. Solid outing by Hamels again, we shouldn’t waste it. Score runs you jerks.
  9. Agree, but minor league guns (which in 2019 how are they not calibrated). Let’s just assume he was 97-99.
  10. Over the last 2-3 now I can remember when they got hot and we have people acting like they’re a thing
  11. By what metric should he be judged against the juggernaut Reds rotation then?
  12. They aren’t They're under .500, but have a +51 run diff and a 3.54 team ERA. They aren't bad I know there’s a time every year we have to act like they’re a legit threat. But no, they aren’t good.
  13. The awful, horrible, must be DFA’d Quintana would be their 2nd most valuable SP by WAR
  14. The Reds truthing never gets old, they do this every year. I like how we have to act like they exist. Yeah but this year they are actually good They aren’t
  15. The Reds truthing never gets old, they do this every year. I like how we have to act like they exist.
  16. horsefeathers these assholes, throw Monty out there and pull everyone meaningful
  17. That was kind of expected, no? Probably figured 2-3 guys were around 3.9-4.5 ERAs.
  18. wait, what the hell am i looking at here? They did a primary thing for positions. So like top 3 vote getters at every position got cut down to a final vote and the winners start. Since there’s 3 OF spots there’s 9 guys. Time to vote Acuna, Bellinger Almora as the starting OF for the NL and horsefeathers Yelich. Because it would be hilarious to have Almora beat Yelich out. Hopefully every other of our meaningful guys get voted out at other positions and get the ASG as rest.
  19. He shouldn’t be rushed in theory, but if they aren’t going to try things out with Barnette, Maples, Mekkes, etc in the meantime and keep the status quo with the Brach’s of the world then yes he should be rushed
  20. Losing him was a massive blow. I hope he’s the #1 choice to become the next manager when Joe is gone.
  21. Alright, we gotta vote Almora everyday. Make him a starter over Yelich. Acuna/Almora/Bellinger
