  1. So, is there a crowd on Waveland/Sheffield ala 2003 during the games? No TV shots of it.
  2. Two largest markets in the game. Not all that surprising. Don't tell the BFIB Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I know but at least give Cubs fans a minute to watch their team celebrate on the field. It's not like we do this a lot. It's like TBS was trying to find the shortest amount of time possible to actually be live at Wrigley tonight. 1 minute of pregame at the park live. No stretch. Never showed the crowd. No Postgame shot of the crowd and the W flags.
  3. Haven't read the thread, so forgive me if its been stated, but 100 wins on the season total. Unless you were alive in 1945 this is the season you have celebrated more Cubs wins than any other in your life.
  4. Through 5: Cardinals: 2 runs on 5 baserunners and 0 HR Cubs: 5 runs on 12 baserunners and 4 HR
  5. 29 balls thrown by Wacha (and a couple BS strike calls out of the zone as well). Cubs should have a lot more
  6. Man, feel like we're letting Wacha off the hook so far.
  7. TBS is going to deprive us of Sammy aren't they?
  8. My brother is saying that on the Score there are rumors/conjecture Sammy is throwing out the first pitch and signing the stretch.
  9. I got off work at 3:00 and turned it on. 6 straight reach?!?! Are you serious? YES!
  10. ugh. That makes me sick. Hope the poster saw it and removed it in time, but I doubt it.
  11. Omg a walk off series wining dong to eliminate the Cardinals would be the greatest thing that ever happened in the history of the world Schwarber clearing the board in RF to walkoff the series would be incredible.
  12. Idk if they still do it, but my cousin used to live close to Wrigley. She could go at like 7:00 or 8:00 am and buy whatever player tickets were not being used from the box office.
  13. Why wouldn't Garcia pitch game 5? He would be on full rest from throwing only 2 innings and likely was affected by a virus or something. That allows them to go Lackey 4 and Garcia 5.
  14. Isn't that really incredible given Friday isn't a good night for TV?
  15. Thought I was going to this game, but it's not going to work. I've got to convince the wife that we need to move to the Chicago area.
  16. I know many have already said it, but if that sequence of events happened to the Cubs I would probably have holes in my walls.
  17. I love that somebody changed their vote.
  18. Just feeling like we were in a series is something I haven't felt in 12 years! So freaking awesome!
  19. Here's the thing. I honestly feel we're the best team right now left in the playoffs. Maybe Blue Jays, but they're in big trouble. I'm not looking at this as a year we're playing with house money. I'm looking at it as a year where we have the hottest pitcher in baseball and a couple of others that are pretty hot too. Offense needs to step it up. I'm not saying I wouldn't look back on this season and realize how awesome it was even with a NLDS loss, but I will carry that loss with me all offseason and into next season because this team is a legit favorite if they can just string together some games (like they have the last 3 months).
