Uh, most definitely not. A man on third would not score on a hard hit ball to the third basemen. I don't think you can definitely say he would or wouldn't. If he's going on contact and the 3rd baseman is playing back he probably would score. Even with the ball hit hard, if the 3rd baseman is playing back his mindset is to get the out at third, not at home.

This game lasted 8:06. Juan Agosto pitched 7 scoreless innings... of relief! :shock:

2-0 pitch was outside. Lee doesn't swing at the next pitch that far out if the first one was called a ball. Blue wants to go home.

Wait, wait, wait...you clearly recognize that it's only 3 games back only 2 weeks into the season. Yes. My point is that we are three games back and the season is only two weeks old and I don't have much faith in our team. I'm saying that I think there is a good chance that we will end up way out of first place.

This game is on the hitters. Horrible game and most of it has to do with their approaches.

Should have been an easy 5-1 homestand. 4-2 is ok, but 3-3 is unacceptable against these opponents.

There's no way the Cubs left 34 on base in a 12 inning game. They would have had to have left the bases loaded in at least 10 of the innings with two runners left on the other two. Saw some post on it on some random answer site and then went and found the game and it is in the box score from Cubs.com. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/news/wrap.jsp?ymd=20080407&content_id=2500905&vkey=wrapup2005&fext=.jsp&team=away&c_id=chc We scored 10 runs and won 10-8. And only left 15 on base... The individual LOB was 34, which is much different than the team LOB.
