He means 2007. We clinched at Cincy that year. I was at the game, and Cubs fans had completely taken over the park. It's no surprise pantywaist Thom got all pissy about it. I was working at a high end restaurant in Scottsdale AZ back in the day when Thom was the Diamondbacks play by play. He was standing outside smoking a cigarette (very strict non-smoking joint) and the smoke was floating into the patio where others were dining. I politely asked him to move further away and he scoffed and looked at me like I asked him if I could horsefeather his sister. A complete douche.

That bullpen kid for the Brewers, Jacob Barnes, looks like he could be a beast. He got the save for the Brewers tonight.

I know Thames was tested the other day. Doesn't it take about 6 weeks for the results or at least until action would be taken if there's a positive test. I know players can find out and then appeal before anything becomes public, but does anyone know the process/timeline?

Not to be a horsefeather, but I'm curious to see how Thames' drug test they administered the other day turns out. It's no coincidence that he was "randomly" tested the other day, MLB officials have eyes and brains too. If he's clean then more power to him for his great start and I apologize for even inferring he wasn't on the level. I like what Riz said about the Marte stuff. You could tell he just wanted to go off but held his tongue, ending it by saying players need to be tested more often.
