    I'm sure you can guess which side Texas attorney general Ken Paxton is on. He's threatening legal action against the Big 12 if they refuse to schedule Texas Tech with fines in excess of 200 million dollars. It's legitimately impressive how he can be on the wrong side of every single thing.

    Has a GM literally ever had as disastrous an offseason as Jed? 1. Bregman- 94 wRC+ in year 1 of a 5/175 deal 2. Shota- 4,44 ERA and on pace to give up about 40 HR 3. Tyler Austin- Likely never takes a PA as a Cub as his knee isn't recovering 4. Hunter Harvey- 4 innings of 6.75 ERA and there's a very real chance he doesn't pitch again for the Cubs since his shoulder isn't improving 5. Holy Milner- The 4.03 ERA doesn't seem so bad, until you see the 4.66 k/9 and 5.34 xERA 6. Phil Maton- 7.08 ERA 7) Edward Cabrera- 4.99 ERA with peripherals to match, when he can actually step on the field That is an unmitigated disaster of an offseason

    Now and then I think about just being a minor league prospect fan. It's so much more enjoyable than the horsefeathers show that marches itself onto the field masquerading as a major league team.

    You have to fire the hitting coach since ownership doesn't have the balls to fire Hoyer or Counsell. There's just no excuse for this offense to be this horsefeathers awful

    It doesn't have to be as good as Indiana's bill. You think they'd take the hugely negative press and resentment of their fan base if they left the state for comparable deals? Let's not forget the quality of the proposed site in Indiana. I'm not even sure it has to be all that close to Indiana's offer to get them to stay in Illinois.

    Not sure why, they're almost 10 games out of the division already and looking worse by the day.

    Sugano is awful, absolutely awful too. Guy went into this game with a 5.12 K/9 and 7.52 xERA. If you can't hit Sugano, fold the franchise and restart.

    On desktop pc, when people respond to a thread you're already in and you click on go to first new post that pops up at the bottom of the screen, instead you automatically get the ad below it every single time. So you have to refresh the page and scroll back down to see new posts.

    I am legitimately interested to see how much fWAR this game adds on to Pete's 2.6 so far. I wouldn't be at all shocked if he's sitting at 2.8 tomorrow.

    Thank god for that error because I would have lost my damn mind when they couldn't get the runner in from 3rd with no outs.
