    It's going to be fun when the Brewers take the division again after losing several major pieces and having significant early season injury issues. Meanwhile the team with the roughly $100M payroll advantage seems to make up zero ground.

    Taillon has been straight up awful. He had literally the worst FIP of qualified pitchers at 5.60 and that was prior to tonight. He currently has a 6.37 FIP which is beyond merely terrible.

    It's the Brewers, even if Priester fails, they'll find some random cast off from another team and he'll suddenly be a top half of the rotation starter.

    #18 Tate Southisene was a guy I wanted in last year's draft if he slipped into the 2nd round.

    4.5 HR/FB% is absurdly low, his 87.6 LOB% is about 10% higher than most, He has still been good, just nowhere near 1.62 ERA good.

    Maybe it's a hot take, but I'm fairly disappointed with Cabrera so far. He has pitched like a guy who should be your #4 or #5 on a playoff caliber rotation. I thought the pitch lab would be able to unlock more.

    Yeah, the guy is running a .486 OBP through 147 PAs. He needs to be promoted asap.

    We are now roughly a quarter of the way through the season and every team in the NLC is above .500. I'm curious to know the latest in a season an entire division has been above .500. The Reds are on 85 win pace and they're last in the division.

    You're more confident than I am. I think 10 wins with that schedule is going to be a heck of a feat. If they put up 12 wins, they should up there with anyone as SB favorites.

    So as someone who knows little to nothing about hockey, how big a deal is this? Sports radio was making this sound like it was a fairly big deal and adding another pillar to the team.

    They need to be exiting week 6 no worse than 4-2 or things are going to get real difficult.

    The dream scenario, for me anyway, would be get Wilson at #4, trade #15 plus whatever to get to #5 and grab Acuff. The only issue is damn would your guard defense be bad, I'd still love Aday but after a really strong combine he's probably top 10 so you'd have to trade up for him too.
