Not that it was ever likely to sign one of them, but with Etienne now signed to the Saints, Walker to KC and Hall getting Franchised by the Jets, it's almost assured Swift is your starting RB next year.

The problem is there is, at best, half of the FA budget left, any other big splash is going to have to happen via trade unless something really unforeseen happens. They're going to shoehorn themselves into drafting a DE at 25 or 57 regardless of BPA.

I truly cannot stand that the Bears just refuse to address EDGE with anything but half measures. It has been a need for years and they just throw mediocrity at it and hope for the best.

The fact that the NCAA hasn't stepped it on this is an absolute joke and they would 100% lose a court case if Fears significantly injured someone because they have had more than ample evidence and opportunity to act on behalf of other player's safety.

I'm somewhere between whelmed and underwhelmed by the Bradbury pick up. The one plus is gives the Bears a lot more flexibility with which to use their remaining resources now.

I mean their left guard and left tackle got far more abused in the Superbowl than the center did. I thought I remembered reading Will Campbell gave up a record amount of QB pressures.

The shouldn't be forced into cutting players like this while they have a QB on a rookie deal. They have zero safeties, basically zero LB, they badly need edge, dl, lt and center and next year they're going to have to throw 50M annually at Caleb. Unless they expecting 4 or 5 day 1 starters out of the draft, I'm not sure how they expect to address it all.
