  1. That scared the hell out of me.
  2. ugh you just know something bad is coming now.
  3. Hill is approaching Aaron Miles type bad.
  4. Aram+ Sori getting hot makes me happy.
  5. Not sure that was a strike, but GJ anyways.
  6. Cueto is getting incredibly lucky.
  7. That was certainly not good. He had no chance of doing anything with that pitch.
  8. This is all I could have hoped for.
  9. And now I'm just hoping some miracle occurs that lets the lineup roll over.
  10. Agreed. Aram brings high quality defense at 3rd which is better than high quality defense in LF.
  11. As much as I really do dislike Hart he has fantastic stuff. If he ever learned to control it he'd be a quality pitcher.
  12. Lee really should have smoked that pitch.
  13. Wow, he is even wilder than usual right now.
  14. I don't think this is a great deal for the Cardinals. They've definitely made themselves better, but they paid a very high price for Holliday. He isn't playing all that well and is a half season rental. I think they would have been better off inquiring about Luke Scott who would have cost them less and is signed for more than half a year. You haven't been paying attention for awhile. Even if he's had an OPS of .900 over the last few months look at Luke Scott's numbers. He wouldn't have cost Wallace, his contract is cheaper and he's signed for more than half a year. There were much better options for the Cardinals out there like Josh Willingham.

  16. Someone should tell them the Cubs are interested in Sherrill not Nick Markakis. I'd be pissed off if they gave up any of the 4 guys mentioned by themself let alone a package involving a couple.
  17. I present to you the single most ridiculous trade thread in the history of mankind. http://forum.orioleshangout.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85056 It's bad enough someone has the guts to ask for Jay Jackson and Starlin Castro. A couple people actually said they want Vitters+ with Jake Fox as a third piece. I might be a homer here, but I can't recall any thread ever on this site that had a trade as laughable as this.
  18. Have there been any reports that hint at how the Brooks Raley negotiations are going?
  19. I'd be all for going the other direction, becoming a seller and starting over next year. It's obvious that if we happen to run up against the Phillies in the playoffs, it isn't going to be pretty. Of course becoming a seller would assume that the Cubs had anyone that was sellable. They have a whole team full of $50 bags of Skittles. Harden and Gregg aren't going to be resigned and might bring back some value. Reed and Lilly could probably be shopped as well. It all depends what type of rebuilding they have in mind.
