  1. I wish Dempster was getting half the strike zone that Buehrle is. Side to side it's absolutely huge.
  2. I wonder how many innings Marshall is capable of going today.
  3. Good thing you walked the worst hitter the Sox can possibly muster Dempster. Good god just throw strikes.
  4. What do we know about Marco Carrillo? He seems to be very age appropriate for AA if not a little young. His ERA is a ridiculous .47 but his GO/AO ratio makes me think his HR rate is unsustainable. He also has a slightly high walk rate.
  5. Good night for Castro, Vitters, Shark and a good night for Archer minus the walks. I'm happy with tonight's games.
  6. This guy almost has to be a lock for a top 100 right? He's young for his league, he has tremendous tools and his bat is performing already.
  7. I believe Bradley gave Lou a reason to send him to the DL today. :P
  8. It'd be better for Bradley, but he still would come off really badly in this situation. If he left the game of his own accord...yikes. If he left on his own that would have to be the end of him as a Cub right?
  9. I can't imagine how much Hawk is freaking out about that third strike.
  10. It wouldn't be Kevin Gregg without some kind of drama.
  11. It's sad, before this incident I really wanted Bradley to do well because I wanted to like the guy. I thought he was just getting a raw deal. So much for all that. At this point I could care less if he steps on the field for the Cubs again.
  12. So I wonder how much longer Bradley is a Cub for. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he takes a trip to the DL until the Cubs find a team to dump him on.
  13. The other options on a day like this are even worse. I honestly would rather have Bobby Scales at this point.
  14. Explain to me why Fontenot even sees the field at this point.
  15. Pulling Wells was a smart move given his pitch count. Using Marmol was not. He was only at 98; why not let him start the inning and pull him if he gets into trouble? Give him like a 110 pitch limit and milk him as long as you can.
  16. It's amazing how predictable this team is. There's like 4 decent players and the rest are trash.
  17. I don't care what has to happen, Soriano has to be off this field.
  18. One swing away from Wells getting robbed of yet another win.
  19. Clearly Piniella was surprised that Marmol walked someone; I mean it happens so rarely.
  20. I love Ozzie Guillen. Your pitcher has already hurt his back, but you keep him in for the 7th. He gives up 3 runs in the 7th and 5 runs on the day. At this point even Lou is smart enough to pull his starter, but Ozzie keeps Contreras in for the 8th too.
