  1. So Lou pretty much has said screw it eh? Bradley and Sori on the bench but Blanco is going to bat.
  2. Hart is missing the plate by Marmol size amounts on some of these pitches. This might be a short lived stay in Chicago.
  3. 5 scoreless IP now with 1H 0BB 5K. The ERA is all the way down to 2.95. That's his final line.
  4. I'm not sure why, but watching Gonzalez pitch makes me want to punch him.
  5. 5 scoreless IP now with 1H 0BB 5K. The ERA is all the way down to 2.95.
  6. I honestly don't remember Lou making all these ridiculous decisions the last two years. There were times he did some dumb things, but he's been dumb on a consistent basis this year.
  7. Well good job Lou, you manged to squeeze one more out of a gassed Demp. I sure am glad you didn't pinch hit for him.
  8. I wonder what the record is for most hits by a team in 9 inning shutout. I can't recall a team ever getting to double digit hits and being shutout off the top of my head.
  9. I'd really like Theriot if he had even average range.
  10. Blanco just can't be in this lineup everyday. He's had a months worth of opportunities in the last week and he's come through once as a result of a drawn in shortstop.
  11. Milton please, I don't care how bad he's been against Vazquez.
  12. Why is it always Blanco up in these situations?
  13. It looks like things are finally going in the right direction.
  14. This has got to be it for Wells; it seems like his location is starting to go a little.
  15. It feels like it's been a really long time since the Cubs had a lead like this.
  16. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, Wells is pitching today.
