  1. He's completely gassed. This had better be the last batter.
  2. While I would be very happy to get Bubba, wouldn't that pretty much put an end to our hopes of any significant late round super slots?
  3. Rothschild was under appreciated by the masses. With that said, they're obviously not as horrid as they've shown so far. Seemed like they also walked a lot of guys when Rothschild was around. CUBS are on a pace to walk 444 batters this year, compared to........... 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 BB 419 395 500 638 597 476 I think you might have pulled the wrong walks number Fred. Those look like the walks the Cubs took not the walks allowed. ...yeah I was going to say those numbers are the complete opposite of what I thought they would have been..

  5. So who can we look forward to getting in the draft next year?
  6. This is worrisome. At this point you have to think something is physically wrong. It could be a very long year if we're going to depend on the offense to carry the pitching.
  7. What the hell is with the Pacers and throwing all these cheap shots? I'd be embarrassed if my team was doing this.
  8. I'm all for Gibson getting starts until Boozer shows anything.
  9. Bringing us all that much closer to the B.Jackson era.
  10. Between this game and the Bulls, a nice Saturday has turned to [expletive] really fast.
  11. Really? I hope it's an injury because that would at least explain why he sucks so bad. If it's not an injury that's a lot more troubling.
  12. So who can we look forward to drafting in 2012?
  13. Really good decision Quade. Dempster hasn't shown the propensity to lose it and get rocked. Now leave him in there for the next few batters so the game can get out of reach.
  14. Well this should put an end to the Coleman experiment.
  15. A guy like Coleman can't afford to lack control. It's going to be a long day.
  16. I'm really surprised the conditions are so bad at Wrigley. I'm only 45 minutes away and I've seen almost no rain. It's just cold out.
  17. I'm all for trading Colvin if some GM wants to get a little overzealous and give up something decent. All of peripherals from last year just screamed regression and he's showing it so far, all be it in a very limited amount of at bats.
  18. Thought some of you might enjoy this. Southern League Rankings as of 9:54PM 4/21 Brett Jackson OPS 1.328 (1) OBP .541 (1) SLG .787 (2) AVG .426 (1) BB 12 (1) TB 37 (1) absolutely ridiculous............
  19. I know I'm biased, but wouldn't the Cubs fans have to be the best? Hell we all root for a team that hasn't won in over a hundred years, but we're still here every day. If that's not dedication what is?
  20. Soto has been hitting a ton of mile high fly balls lately.
  21. I'd be thrilled with Diamond at this point.
  22. wow, if I'm the Padres manager Maybin is out of the game now. That was pathetic.
