  1. Lots of people are grossed out by the different type of spaghetti noodles. I like the thicker ones, but it seems like plenty of people don't like those because they are "more wet" than the thinner ones tend to be. Personally, I don't like the thinner ones because it seems like they tend to clump together. It's pretty much exactly like this. I have zero issues with angel hair or really any other kind of pasta. The thick spaghetti noodles just feel slimy and mushy.
  2. Going along with that, I had heard Yankees wanted Reynaldo Lopez, but Washington is basically saying no, take Erick Fedde instead.
  3. Looks like some Ohio [expletive]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I already have issues with spaghetti's texture, but slimy spaghetti with crunchy toast and melted cheese. There's just no way. Actually makes me think of those horrific new deep fried Cheetos dust covered mac and cheese bites BK is doing. One bite and never ever again.
  4. This is why I'd be surprised if they were truly in on him, unless they feel Jason and Dexter can help him out a great deal in LF.
  5. He's really start to make my faith in him waver. He needs to just go out and pound the strike zone, if they get hits so be it, but don't give them free passes. Yes, the 1.25 walks per 9 is a serious concern. No, the falling behind guys is.
  6. Good win, Dex carries the offense in his first game back.
  7. He's really start to make my faith in him waver. He needs to just go out and pound the strike zone, if they get hits so be it, but don't give them free passes.
  8. looks like cream cheese, you can kind of see the dimples from the packaging.
  9. Fastball down almost 1.5mph, K/9 down almost a full 3, Contact rate up nearly 8%. Right now would be a really scary time to invest.
  10. SD continues their crazy international spending spree by signing Jorge Ona to a 7M deal. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/07/padres-sign-jorge-ona-seven-million.html
  11. Honestly, I'm kinda thinking Pries might just be an older, slightly more advanced version of Blackburn. Pretty much. Guys who are 5s in a perfect world and in all likelihood middle inning relievers.
  12. I want Lee between them, but both are some solid names James Paxton is also currently at AAA. I'd like him. I suspect the price tag is high. With the new velocity the potential is huge.
  13. Kind of hoping it's Cody Martin coming back to the Cubs if indeed a AAA pitcher is coming here.
  14. Honestly I'd be surprised if one of Montgomery/matusz didn't have Hammel's gig next year and the Cubs took the 10M saved and spent it elsewhere. I'd have preferred Paxton, but I'm sure the price was much higher.
  15. For everyone that realizes that Vogelbach is a fat DH who has only shown power once he got to the Pacific Coast League, a big, youngish lefty arm that was once one of the top pitching prospects in baseball, that can flip back and forth from the pen and start maybe, with tons of years of control left... it's a nice return. I would gamble there is a very significant chance he's tried out as a starter to start 2017.
  16. It doesn't have the flash of Miler, but it certainly didn't have the price tag either. I like it.
  17. God it really would have been nice to pull that game out last night.
  18. Taking 2 out of 3 against Tex and NYM to start the 2nd half would be a fantastic start.
  19. Probably not the best idea to say you think a guy could hit 50HR and then offer a reliever in return for him.
  20. Cameron is underestimating the potential of the situation. This is essentially one corporation look at the trade secrets of the other. That kind of information is potentially business crippling. If Pepsi finds out Coke is rolling out new drink in January and they beat them to market with their own version in December, that could cost Coke hundreds of millions of dollars.
  21. Sure would have been nice if this would have happened before they just had a really good draft class. Anyways, take their 2017 draft and INTL period away and I'm happy. Should be at least that much, based on how hard Boston got hit.
  22. I am just completely unable to tell how far a ball is going off Heyward's bat.
