  1. Call me biased, and I know it's only one game, but I feel like the Cubs are significantly better than both of these squads. I'm very underwhelmed by both squads ability to work the count.
  2. Every time they get anyone on base it's a guaranteed double play.
  3. A single sends you home and still no Britton.
  4. Why in god's name is Britton not in this game? You're one batter from going home.
  5. Buck had better not make the mistake of giving up the lead before using the league's most dominant reliever.
  6. Watch Baltimore come out and rally now that they're pissed off following the water bottle incident. edit: Make that beer can.
  7. With the way SF struggles against lefties and with how hot Lester is coming into the postseason I think it's a no brainer. It also sets him up for either a 2nd start in the NLDS or possibly game 1 against the Dodgers, should they get past the Nats, who are also terrible against lefties.
  8. What in the hell is Saunders doing not scoring? You advance one base on a double?
  9. Definitely rooting for the Jays. Baltimore fans are really bad in general. They think everyone is out to get them all the time. Then there's lll the name calling and what not after the Cubs got Fowler instead of them, the extremely classy responses about karma when Schwarber got hurt. Combine that with an argument I had a few days ago from a Baltimore fan who said the Cubs are a sub 95 maybe even 90 win team in the AL East and I'm ready for that that one trick pony of a team to be done.
  10. Very underwhelmed by Tillman's stuff, despite the results so far.
  11. What? Why are you bitching at MLB for giving away a free look? Didn't know it was a freebie until about an hour after this post.
  12. This is the first time I've ever had a Cub game I couldn't watch and of course it's playoff game. Nice cash grab MLB.
  13. The bottom of the strike zone just doesn't exist.
  14. Really hope Rizzo and Bryant start to warm up a bit, can't afford to head into the playoffs with them both slumping.
  15. Lester wins #19 to go along with a 2.33ERA. If not for his disaster start against the Mets where he went 1 1/3IP and gave up 8ER, he'd be your run away CY winner with a 1.93ERA.
  16. Chapman has the Hammel's; opening up his shoulder and missing high and away consistently.
  17. Fowler and that waist high catch will never cease terrifying me.
  18. If after 3 minutes you can't decide then it just needs to be call on the field.
  19. Yeah, it was really bad form bunting. Not sure why they asked him to do it with 2 strikes if he's that bad.
  20. Ok, enough horsefeathering around Rondon and then Chapman.
  21. That and historically Grimm is very good against lefties.
  22. Her swing analysis blows away what any other announcer for ESPN can do.
  23. Ugh, Edwards. This is what I fear from him in the playoffs.
