  1. No, but thanks to dynamic pricing they can charge significantly higher prices for a fanbase that travels well.
  2. You just know the Cubs series is the one that's going to ignite the Cardinals and they go on some ridiculous run
  3. The same fan base who hated Javy and Willson probably loving Genesis Cabrera
  4. It's perhaps possible that this offense kind of sucks
  5. This farm is ridiculously deep now that it's actually in front of me. There's legitimately 30 guys that are at least pretty exciting.
  6. At least they moved Wisdom down and Bellinger up, that's something.
  7. Those teams also had significantly more talent. Much like with Hosmer, the Cubs don't have the wiggle room for those types of players getting lots of at bats.
  8. If they can't hit the Cardinal pitching staff then god help this offense the rest of the way.
  9. Unless the guy is Pudge Rodriguez behind the plate, you can't have a guy putting up a .554 OPS on your roster even as a back up. If he can't hit at all he needs to provide elite defense and he doesn't.
  10. I'm definitely not turning down a Bellinger extension just because there's prospects behind him. We're talking a former MVP who is playing at MVP pace again this year and is only 27. Right now he's playing at 8.9 fWAR/162 pace. It's not like PCA or Davis are going to waste. They can be used as chips elsewhere.
  11. Why in god's name he was given a player option for a 2nd year is baffling to me. The guy put up a 63 wRC+ in 2022 along with -.2 fWAR and .554 OPS. His defense isn't even elite and while he's a good pitch framer, that is nowhere near enough to warrant his roster spot. Unfortunately due to that second year dear, I'm sure he sticks around on the roster all year and continues to be an automatic out.
  12. Even in the rare occasion he puts the ball in play its weak contact. .443 ops, 29 wOPS+, and the funny part is that he's actually overperforming his xBA , xSLG and xOBP
  13. This is such a perfect Cob game. It has it all. Ineptitude with risp, a come back , and then a crazy way to blow the game. Unfortunately I don't think a fake rally can happen with a runner starting on 2B.
  14. The Marlins need a sac fly and pitches keep being up in the zone. Why?
  15. There's people legitimately calling for the Cardinals to eat his contract and just dfa him. I'd be happy to bring him back on the the Cardinal's dime for the next 5 years.
  16. Contreras is DH and OF now with very few starts at catcher. That whole franchise is imploding.
  17. And some how gets the K on 5 of 6 pitches out of the zone
