    Alonso for Morel would not make me very happy. Soto sure, Alonso, big nope.

    Granted it's just a chat from MLBTradeRumors so it doesn't carry a lot of weight, but if Morel doesn't carry enough value to even be the lead piece where Morel+ isn't going to get it done, then I'm out.

    Once a really hot name around the league, Buffalo's OC Ken Dorsey has been fired.

    I think this is pretty easily his worst trait right now. He is absolutely horrifically terrible at making pre snap reads and adjustments.

    A rumor that the Orioles were sold to the Carlyle Group for 1.4B is floating out there. I'd usually be happy for Baltimore to get out under from Angelos, but an investment group is almost bound to be just as terrible.

    You have to look at who is throwing these guys the ball. Odunze is supposed to be a top 15 pick and has more receiving yards than MHJ, but if MHJ had Penix(#1 in passing yards) throwing him the ball he'd be blowing away the rest of the receivers by a healthy amount. The same thing with Malik Nabors and Jayden Daniels(#3 in passing yards). Meanwhile Kyle McCord is 20th.

    Sure he can, If Alonso is your 1B and Ohtani/Soto is your DH.

    There's no likely about it, he's a tremendous douche who, despite talking constantly, offers almost nothing of any actual substance. I've still never heard anyone say, "you know that Collinsworth is a really good announcer".

    Scrambling is fine, but once he's in the grasp he just needs to go down. Someone in the NFL is going to absolutely blow him up if he keeps doing that.

    Watching him against Oregon, I was reminded that I do see some of the things Fields does really badly in Caleb, such as taking a very long time to make a decision. In the face of consistent pressure he gets happy feet and makes poor throws. With that said, he has far better pocket awareness than Fields has, but he's 100% going to have to stop trying to fight off these sacks, because he's going to get stripped constantly in the NFL if he keeps doing it. Caleb is much better on short passes and better in the middle of the field, but Fields throws a much better deep ball. I'm still not settled on if I like Williams or Maye more and I still don't know that I honestly like either more than just taking MHJ. Unfortunately trading that 2nd round pick has kind of forced them to take one of the two unless they're going to reach very early on a guy like Nix or Penix with their 2nd 1st round pick.

    My prediction. Bears lose, Fields puts up a solid performance but doesn't win so the mouth breathers continue their chant about Bagent just being a winner and needing to be the starting QB. With that snark out of the way, I'd just like to see the defense continue to look solid and not backslide like they did in the Charger game. I'd like to see Justin take advantage of an improving Oline and limit his sacks. One thing I hope he did learn from Bagent was calling out blitzers at the line and switching the play to a quick slant or run. There's too many times where he has free rushers and he makes no adjustments at the line to do anything about it.

    Yeah, the Giants are in a category of bad all their own. They go into the half down 28-0 and having gained a total of 28 yards.

    Then Stroud leads Texas to a game winning field goal and a 5-4 record. Good god, what a miss he was.

    3 TOs this week. The yardage is nice, but he's had a pretty bad game.

    Man Tennessee is bad. I don't think they're any threat to overtake Carolina, but I'd be surprised if they don't have a worse record than the Bears.

    He's looking like the biggest Chicago star since DRose. Lets hope things go a bit better than that.

    The Bears are better than both, but I think the Patriots are better than Carolina by a decent bit. No one is going to out tank the Giants the rest of the way. They're awful.
