  1. I severely overestimated how much the Cardinals would improve with Murray and Conner coming back. They're still terrible.
  2. This is good. It basically guarantees that the Panthers will win any tie breaker because their SOS is pure horsefeathers
  3. Remaining games for Carolina @TB (4-7) @NO (5-6) VS ATL (5-6) VS GB (5-6) @JAX (8-3) VS TB (4-7)
  4. Carolina out bads Tennessee and falls to 1-10.
  5. Giants won, which likely takes them out of the running for #1.
  6. Mac Jones is absolutely terrible. 10 TD 12 INT on the season now.
  7. Games of consequence for the Bears Panthers(1-9) vs Titans(3-7) Pats(2-8) vs Giants(3-8) Arizona(2-9) vs Rams(4-6) In a perfect world if the Panthers lost and the Pats and Cards won, that would put the Bears as a huge favorite to land that #1 pick.
  8. Just reading the tea leaves. As was mentioned, Yamamoto and Iwanaga are freshly posted. Ohtani is unlikely to happen prior to the winter meeting. I doubt any trades of consequence will happen in the week leading up to the GMs being able to talk face to face.
  9. I hate to say it, but I think I'd put the Panthers as a favorite over the Titans today. The Titans are horrible lately.
  10. Unfortunately it looks like not much is going to happen league wide until December 3rd.
  11. Their lack of success with 1st round picks is almost amazing in that they could be so bad. 2022: Dalen Terry has played 11 minutes this year. 2020: Williams in year 4 is playing 23 minutes a game and averaging 6.4 points on 34.3 FG%. 2019: Coby White is at best a bench player on any decent team, but sadly the best of their recent 1st rounders that they kept. 2018: Wendell Carter was their best recent 1st round pick and of course they traded him. He averaged a double double 2 years ago and nearly did it again last year. 2017: Justin Patton was out of the league in March of 2021 after a career averaging 3.9 PPG
  12. The lab seems to be far better at giving control guys better stuff then giving stuff guys better control. It's one of the reasons I wasn't real big on the Jaxon Wiggins pick.
  13. Drake Maye had another pretty Marginal game 22/38 for 254 passing yards 2TD and 2INT. He did have a big day running the ball, but that's not really a tool I'd expect him to utilize in the NFL. MHJ had a nice performance in a huge game against Michigan, 5 catches 118yds and 1 TD Penix had a disappointing game putting up 18/33 for 204 yards 2TD and 1INT Nix's stock is soaring putting up another big game 33/40 367 yards 2TD 0INT USC did not play, so no Caleb Williams Barring a really bad combine, I think Nix has pretty much guaranteed himself a place in the top 10. 37TD to 2 INT is absolutely crazy.
  14. Feeling pretty safe at this point.
  15. Here, I got it to let me actually use the link this time
  16. Who knows if he actually has this info, but he has over 2000 followers, so maybe?
  17. I wasn't a huge fan either. Of my lifetime, Len has been my favorite guy.
  18. If I remember correctly, they don't have a 2nd until something stupid like 2028. This team is in about as bad a place as is possible.
  19. Hot take, but there's at least a few of us who didn't think Vin Scully has good at all. Just nostalgic story after nostalgic story. I think it was either Raisin or Tim who didn't like him as well.
  20. Poor Starlin fell to the same fate that got Josh Vitters and Jason Heyward. Rather than be content with 15ish HR power, the hitting gurus felt they had to tinker with their swings in order to unlock more power and in the end it destroyed their swing entirely.
  21. Ok, here's something more realistic. Explain to me how BBTV believes 3 years of Freddy Peralta(64) is more valuable than 4 years of Justin Steele(59.4) when over 2022 and 2023 they've put up these numbers comparatively. Steele: 3.11 ERA, 3.09 FIP, 3.39 xFIP, 7.5fWAR, 9.30 K/9, 2.65 BB/9 Peralta: 3.77 ERA, 3.60 FIP, 3.50 xFIP, 5.0fWAR, 10.93 K.9, 2.99 BB/9 Peralta strikes out more people, that's all he does better.
  22. Barring some unprecedented overpay like the Orioles coming in and saying we want Steele, we'll give you Jackson Holliday, Grayson Rodriguez and Coby Mayo. I highly doubt he's going anywhere in at least the next 2 years.
  23. Imagine that, you bring back the same mediocre to bad team from last year and they're bad this year. Who would have thought? At this point I honestly think you could gather up all the ex bulls around the league and put together a better team than what they have right now.
  24. I don't think you understand what ceiling means
