  1. What is the center doing? That's the 2nd time Fields has had to call for the ball multiple times.
  2. The line got absolutely destroyed on that 1st down
  3. Trenton Gill is really really bad.
  4. That was a bad play call on 2nd and 5
  5. About as good a start as could be hoped for.
  6. If MHJ and Fashanu are available, I don't think that's a completely unreasonable take.
  7. Whoever bet on that mid 1st quarter made a ton of money.
  8. A few of the Bear relevant guys performances Maye had a bad game 16/36 209 yards 1TD 1INT MHJ with a really quiet game 3 catches for 30 yards and a TD Nix had a huge game 24/29 404 yards 6TD Williams had a solid game despite USC's continued implosion. 31/42 384 yards 1TD 1INT Penix is still playing
  9. This is the worst quarter of professional basketball I've ever seen played, 24-3 with 3 minutes left in the 1st.
  10. His games played over the last 4 years 2022=82 2021= 119 2020= 36 (Covid year) 2019= 53 At this point I think you consider yourself lucky if you even get him for 100 games a year.
  11. What's more disgusting is Met fans acting like Morel would be a 2nd piece in a deal behind a guy like Horton. I've never seen a fan base drastically overrate a player the way Met fans value Alonso.
  12. Mark Andrews is also probably done for the year. 2 stars suffering season ending injuries in the same game, I wonder how often that happens.
  13. Nothing has been more overhyped than the takes on Fields while on the sidelines. People now calling him a diva, saying he's pouting, saying he doesn't care, etc. It's all hot takes with nothing to back it up.
  14. Alonso for Morel would not make me very happy. Soto sure, Alonso, big nope.
  15. Granted it's just a chat from MLBTradeRumors so it doesn't carry a lot of weight, but if Morel doesn't carry enough value to even be the lead piece where Morel+ isn't going to get it done, then I'm out.
  16. Reinsdorf is one Michael Jordan away from being one of the most unsuccessful owners in sport history.
  17. Once a really hot name around the league, Buffalo's OC Ken Dorsey has been fired.
  18. I think this is pretty easily his worst trait right now. He is absolutely horrifically terrible at making pre snap reads and adjustments.
  19. A rumor that the Orioles were sold to the Carlyle Group for 1.4B is floating out there. I'd usually be happy for Baltimore to get out under from Angelos, but an investment group is almost bound to be just as terrible.
  20. You have to look at who is throwing these guys the ball. Odunze is supposed to be a top 15 pick and has more receiving yards than MHJ, but if MHJ had Penix(#1 in passing yards) throwing him the ball he'd be blowing away the rest of the receivers by a healthy amount. The same thing with Malik Nabors and Jayden Daniels(#3 in passing yards). Meanwhile Kyle McCord is 20th.
  21. Sure he can, If Alonso is your 1B and Ohtani/Soto is your DH.
  22. There's no likely about it, he's a tremendous douche who, despite talking constantly, offers almost nothing of any actual substance. I've still never heard anyone say, "you know that Collinsworth is a really good announcer".
  23. Scrambling is fine, but once he's in the grasp he just needs to go down. Someone in the NFL is going to absolutely blow him up if he keeps doing that.
  24. Watching him against Oregon, I was reminded that I do see some of the things Fields does really badly in Caleb, such as taking a very long time to make a decision. In the face of consistent pressure he gets happy feet and makes poor throws. With that said, he has far better pocket awareness than Fields has, but he's 100% going to have to stop trying to fight off these sacks, because he's going to get stripped constantly in the NFL if he keeps doing it. Caleb is much better on short passes and better in the middle of the field, but Fields throws a much better deep ball. I'm still not settled on if I like Williams or Maye more and I still don't know that I honestly like either more than just taking MHJ. Unfortunately trading that 2nd round pick has kind of forced them to take one of the two unless they're going to reach very early on a guy like Nix or Penix with their 2nd 1st round pick.
