  1. GB escapes with a win thanks to a missed 46 yard field goal.
  2. Packers get a FG and allow the Panthers to get into FG range in 2 players with 13 second to go. Panthers miss the FG. GB wins.
  3. They were up 30 to 16 at the start of the 4th quarter.
  4. GB in full collapse against the Panthers. It's 30 to 30 now.
  5. and i think that 210 is generous
  6. Just my opinion, but the drop off to Penix is large. I think Daniels has a fairly high ceiling, but as has been previously mentioned, the guy is a twig and he's going to get hurt if he doesn't bulk up substantially.
  7. I think Tomlin is a fine coach, but I'm sick of defensive minded coaches in an offensive minded NFL.
  8. 25-30 HR upside, while striking out less than 15% of the time and walking in excess of 10% of the time, While also having a high Hard%(39.3%) and low SOFT%(13.4). Comparatively, Freddie Freeman was at 36.9% and 10.6% in those two categories while sporting very similar K% and BB%. The two big differences that keep Pasquantino from being unlikely to approach a player of Freeman's level is that he's incredibly, like ridiculously slow type slow, and Freeman has kept one of the highest LD%s in MLB for the better part of a decade now while Pasquatino hits more flyballs and is a bit pull heavy for my liking.
  9. I'm pulling for the win as a result of a good Fields performance. I'd prefer he maximizes his trade value.
  10. If NBC Chicago is to be believed, the Bears have discussed giving up draft picks to hire Mike Tomlin. I cannot tell you how much I would hate this.
  11. Of all the names we've heard with the possibility of being moved, Logan Gilbert is about the only one I'd do it for.
  12. Depends what part of the "top Cub pitching prospects" pool the White Sox are willing to indulge in. There's no way I'm giving up Horton, but just about every other pitching prospect+Wicks would be available for me.
  13. It would appear that neither Ohtani or Yamamoto signing were the damn breaking events we had hoped for.
  14. What must it be like to have a gm who identifies a need, decides on a guy who fills that need then does what is needed to land him instead of hoping talent somehow falls into their hands.
  15. If I'm making a deal with Atlanta, Kyle Pitts is coming back. I've never seen talent so wasted in all my life, it's completely baffling.
  16. You mean the NBA where star players funnel themselves onto a handful of teams and the rest of the league sucks?
  17. You ever wake up, check the forums, see 3 or 4 pages of new posts, start reading then regret you're never getting those 5 minutes back?
  18. Yamamoto took the Met offer, ran it to LAD and they matched it. He completely used the Mets, which would usually be funny to me, but I hate the Dodgers more.
  19. I'm seriously pondering giving up baseball at this point. 1 billion on 2 players.
  20. The haul for 1 is going to be pretty huge to the point where I'd almost be disappointed if they didn't move it. I'm not in love with Williams or Maye and while I'd love to have MHJ, I'd like even more to have a top 10 pick this year, a 2nd this year and a first in 2025 and 2026 plus whatever else they manage to squeeze out of whoever.
  21. You see what you've done Jed! This is the offseason banter we're left with.
  22. Yes, open the market like Ohtani signing was supposed to.
  23. A month ago I never would have guessed we'd get to Christmas without any type of ml roster related move. On it's own that's a long wait for a move, but add in the surge of expectations following signing Counsel and it makes it feel much worse.
  24. I think he's a great target, but there are causes for concern too, which would probably be the only reason the Astros would be making him available in the first place. His GB% was the lowest it has ever been in the majors in 2023(54.2%) coming off 66.5% the previous year and 70.3% the year before that. His LD% is up and his FB% is way up from 2022. His HARD% is up over 7% and his SOFT% is down roughly 5%. Strangely, his fastball velocity was actually up in 2023(95.3) from 94.0 in 2022. It makes me wonder if the extra velocity is coming at the cost of movement and that's letting people square him up more often. It's kind of like how Carlos Zambrano could reach back for 98 when he wanted it, but when he was at his best he was sitting around 94 with significantly more downward movement on his pitches.
