It happens when your offense is so bad they actually win games because the pitchers start hitting. Rizzo and Castro completely forgetting how to hit at the same time has been ugly. Very frustrating. :-k

I think if he becomes a more durable Longoria, that's best case scenario. Go check his Fangraphs page. Longoria is an absolute beast, and a generational talent. Being better than that puts him in Harper/Trout territory, and I don't think Rizzo is on that level. Joey Votto-esque, I think. Which would be awesome. He's going to be a fan favorite for a long time.

I still want to watch the kids and all, but was just curious if anyone had a handy payroll breakdown for the team as presently constructed (and with free agents, etc.) After this season, no other big contracts on the books besides Kill 'em Alf, right? I trust Theo and Co., he needed a new challenge after winning it twice in Boston.
