  1. All your outfielder are belong to us!!!
  2. Can't have too many.... keep 'em coming.
  3. Maybe still cautious about reaggrivating that injury. Another attribute you look for in a leadoff hitter.
  4. Soriano has seen 15 pitches today. He's swung at 11 of them. I'm glad he's getting his BA back up, but his plate discipline still sucks. Unfortunately that will always be the case with Soriano. Apparently that's what makes him an ideal leadoff hitter.... :this:
  5. It's not as if Johnson was going to get a hit anyway.
  6. Sweet, I can still be a prospect as I approach 30!
  7. Campusano has had arm troubles before, no?
  8. Zambrano looks like he enjoys it much more than Fontenot.
  9. Peak speed comes around 21 or so, right? So by then, he'll clearly be getting to first in like 2.5.
  10. And then the ESPNs of the world praise them for what wonderful drafters they are, when really, they're just spenders.
  11. That's pretty poor reasoning. really? why? they've lost every tinkered-with game. if i remember correctly, they shuffled the rotation to allow marquis (and not hill) to start against the brewers. they lost. hill was then nine days removed from his last start when he threw against the cardinals. they lost that game. and lieber, who took hill's spot in the rotation, got battered today. they lost. you really don't see how this rotation shuffle hurt the cubs? I don't think it's the reason they're 3-6. and i didn't say it was the reason. But your argument certainly implied it. Maybe if Hill took the mound every day...
  12. So we whine about Dusty destroying his starters by leaving them in too long, and now we're going to whine about Lou having too quick of a hook? Why can't they both be problems? It's not as if the only choices are yank in the 5th or leave until the 10th.
  13. I that it was funny. Mostly in a laughing at him kind of way.
  14. Lou - to the extent he has control over roster moves - certainly showed that he's not one to hold back on sending a guy packing to AAA when he's "fed up" with them.
  15. Lou's in-game decisions have been angering me for a long time now, but until recently, I felt like his roster/lineup/whatever decisions had been pretty good. I now no longer feel that way.
  16. 3rd double would have been out at most parks but the wall in LCF here is 15-20 feet high. he didnt get any cheap doubles. They were all smoked. Nice. Perhaps a Cub first round pick will be a wild, injury-free success? Should I knock on wood?
  17. Good. He seems to get better every level he goes up.
  18. When Patterson initially got the call over Murton, everyone I know thought that was the definitive signal of the end of Murton's time with the Cubs organization. But what do we know, anyway?
  19. Does he know how to run the basepaths?
  20. Lets see Sean was born in Boston and his Family is from Boston, would I like to see this trade made??? I have no comment......... :yahoo: Ouch... but I guess I understand. At the same time, Sean *alone* is worth more than Crisp.
