The ONLY way this is a justifiable move is if they plan to place somebody (Schlitter or, better still, Zambrano himself) on the DL with a phantom injury and bring back Stevens after he's rested a couple of days. They CANNOT justify punishing Stevens by sending him down because Zambrano chose to tax an already worked bullpen. Zambrano, and nobody else, must bear the consequences of his actions.
