    Adding on to California Raisin's warning, personal attacks on other posters are not tolerated at NSBB; treating other posters with respect, even when you disagree with them, is a must. Referring to others as idiots is clearly a personal attack. If you had said they are mistaken, as opposed to idiots, that would have been OK.

    I may be wrong, but I don't think the word is considered to be cursing in that context; it's basically a synonym for awesome.

    Hagerty's (and my) alma mater, Ball State, lost to Iowa 56-0 in football today. That score seems rather indicative of the season Hagerty had. :(

    According to a report from the Djaxx web site, Bobby Dickerson is taking time away from the team to clean up from Hurricane Katrina. His home is in Laurel, Mississippi. Grady Little will manage the team in his absence. Hopefully he and his family are safe and he'll be able to clean up and recover from any damage the home may have suffered.

    Saying that someone doesn't want Maddux to return next year because they think the money could be better used elsewhere is not bashing. It is stating a legitimate opinion.

    I blame bad seasons on bad execution, bad managing, bad personnel decisions, etc., not a goat.

    I think it should be rebuilt, but done right. I've only visited New Orleans once (in 1999), but plan to again sometime (although I now expect it to be several years). The French Quarter, Mardi Gras, the steamboats on the Mississippi, etc. are too important and unique to America to not rebuild. We can't give in to Mother Nature. As far as the cost is concerned, some of it could perhaps be paid by taxes on admissions to tourist attractions. I think most tourists would be willing to pay a bit more to help pay for the rebuilding if they realize the alternative is to not rebuild and lose those attractions forever.
