    Can't argue against purists. :) From a purist perspective, I remember in my own lifetime when there was no OT in the first place and ties were ties (except for postseason).

    I added a comment to one of the podcasts (the one on free agent pitchers) to try out that feature. I discovered that, when you post a comment, it refreshes the page, and that if you do so while listening to a podcast it stops when you refresh. So it's probably best to wait until finished listening to the podcast before adding a comment. Fortunately I was so close to the end that I don't think I missed much.

    I wish I could go back in time and sit Parker in favor of Buckhalter. At least my other starting RB on that team is Peterson (not the one on the Bears), so I might still salvage some production from my RBs this week.

    The only issues I have are the quoted text being larger than the main message and not enough contrast between the white and the yellow for new posts. Those issues aren't significant enough to me to prevent me from using the new style.

    I wasn't really allowed to use him per se, it's just that Juan didn't see the discussion until after the week was over and by then it was a moot point because Norris had a big negative outing. I believe he actually agreed with you that I shouldn't have used him, but there was no need for a scoring adjustment since he was negative. no, I said you could use him. and seriously, if you guys don't like each other, just shut the [expletive] up. if you're just having fun, carry on. its just fantasy baseball. At least from my end it was just meant to be a bit of ribbing, since he's doing the same thing he made a federal case against me doing a few weeks ago. In the end it didn't really matter since the issue didn't affect the outcome of my match then and I have no vested interest in what happens this week. Nothing personal intended.

    He DEFINITELY should not be allowed to pick up a pitcher during the week to get 7 starts. If that were allowed there would have been no reason I couldn't have promoted Norris from my minor league roster to get a start. We were both in the same situation (forgetting to activate a pitcher) and he griped big-time about me trying to use Norris. I don't see how his situation now is any different. I realize that I don't have a vested interest since I'm an also-ran, but I can't help getting a kick out of the karma.

    I gotta brag about my good pitching this week (especially Feldman and Marquis) and having the second highest score of the week so far. TBA doesn't stand a chance! On second thought, it would be better if my players sucked the rest of the year. No need to have a bunch more points against the cap when they don't do me any good.

    That's fine. They're not strictly NSBB contests anyway; there are members of fantasy leagues I'm in participating as well. The more, the better.

    I think it would make more sense to trade Cutler for a QB that's fairly equal in ability but with a different bye week, if there's another owner in the league with such a QB.

    Agreed; trading a starter for a platoon player = bad. In other words, trading a starter for a platoon player = Hendry. Look for it to happen.
