  1. Arob has likely threatened to sit out, Galloway must be insurance
  2. What will the Mitch truthers say now? There were definitely bears fans out there that were waiting for him to be a starter somewhere so he could show his struggles were nagys fault I highly doubt Trubisky is going to lead the Bills to a SB, but I also don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities that Trubisky will benefit from the organization that took the box of squirrels that was Allen and turned him into a pro bowl QB.
  3. Welp, duck that idea https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2936775-attorney-deshaun-watson-to-face-3-additional-assault-lawsuits
  4. Andy Dalton has had literally 1 season better than Trubisky. This isn't an upgrade in any way, its a push at best. If you think this is a good thing in the idea that now Nagy will try to run his offense full speed, I think we are all about to witness how terrible his offense can actually look...full speed.
  5. I imagine the guy will definitely start the year on the bench and I'm fine with that. If they do not move up were looking at Trask or Mond? Or worse; move up to take Task or Mond
  6. Considering Seattle just lost Griffin, watch them nab Fuller JOKES ON US
  7. "Mr Wilson, you can sign with us for $4 mil or face another season with Pete Carroll" = Bears win SB 2022 Ok, not realistic, but it's fun to think
  8. If Robinson is signed, he along with Mooney and an improving Kmet might be about the best targets Russell Wilson has ever had or pretty damn close to the best. He currently has Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf. Thats better than Robinson/Mooney. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk beat me to it. however, he also has Pete Carroll, whom there has never been a more effective boat anchor as a coach
  9. Playing that tight to TB is a really good sign
  10. There was an article in the Athletic the other day about this. If Kane plays to 40 like he may well be able to do, he very well could end up #1
  11. To echo Jersey, Mitchs issues were never that he didn't have time in the pocket
  12. The best part of a Wilson trade: I'll finally get my wife and daughter to wear a Bears jersey. horsefeathers it let's do it
  13. As bad as the Bears have been at drafting and developing QBs, their inability to do so with pass rushers is equally bad. Floyd never developed into a pass rusher and before that wasn't Mark Andersen the last one? Bauzin
  14. I dont hate the idea of JJ Watt assuming 1) he's healthy 2) he signs a reasonable contract that doesn't kill us on a Arob deal
  15. Who would cost less? Other then cost I'd lean Mariota, then Minshew, lastly Darnold
  16. what part of "tank this horsefeathers" dont you understand The people who are serious about Darnold being a reclamation project aren't pro-tank. They have just been bludgeoned by the team for decades so they have no standards for the team See, I read all of that like "if Darnold success for us, yay, if he helps us tank, YAY" Or maybe that was just my inner voice
  17. what part of "tank this horsefeathers" dont you understand
  18. ah, I dont remember hearing about any of that but makes sense
  19. refresh my memory, what was it about? I believe that former bears staffer and occasional XFL exec Greg Gabriel said something about suspecting the bears didn’t want Ballard since he was a part of the organization and knows what needs to be fixed? i'm reading into this: Ted Phillips or the McCaskeys were the issue?
  20. refresh my memory, what was it about?
  21. Why would they release him? He’s cheap and young, they’ll trade him for something. And fwiw, a rando ny sports talk host and thinks they can get a late 1st for him. That’s insane but it’s reasonable to assume they can get a pick for him. its also reasonable to assume that since its the Jets were speaking of, any stupidity would be possible
  22. yup. "we're going to be big players in the qb market" until they realize they are playing from a little player position. Foles and Mac Jones (?) here we come
  23. That's good to read, appears Pace has figured out Wentz isn't going anywhere fast and it's wise to wait the Eagles out. I don't think Pace figured that out. MAAAAYBE Nagy, more likely George, but def not Pace.
  24. You want to trade Hicks and replace him with Watt? If Watt would play for a significantly lower cap hit than the 12 Hicks is going to get, then yes. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk with Goldman back and Nichols coming on, Hicks isn't as critical as he once was. Quinn, however.... I also would be a bit surprised to see JJ Watt taking a big pay cut, however.
