  1. He hasn't been that bad. The Wims wiff changes the whole game
  2. Gonna be close. The ball is allowed to touch the ground if there is a hand under the ball and the ball doesn’t move at all...I think? That is my understanding, but who are we kidding the rules around catches are just guidelines. The last look showed it bounce off the turf That sucks
  3. He's the QB, I'd prefer he doesn't get killed
  4. So infuriating. Trubisky is hitting Wims and Wims just totally wiffs it
  5. Not if there's a receiver in the area. Ah, I didn't see anyone
  6. Sure, but just for clarification, isn't that intentional grounding?
  7. I thought if you throw it away, it has to get back to the LOS?
  8. If I was into strategic human resource management as a spectator sport, I'm not sure I'd pick the Bears as my team to follow. As it is, I'd rather have another shot at GB.
  9. I didn't even recognize the Seattle play as a WR screen, the DB blew it up so well. but this is really more what I refer to
  10. I can't remember, did Shoop like to call that play? Maybe that's it. I'm emotionally damaged from those days. But honestly, it isn't just a WR screen that bothers me, it's any pass into the flat where the DB has the perfect opportunity to jump the play. whatever
  11. yea that's the point I was trying to make
  12. This article is now 7 years old, and it blames mainly the short passing game, but also points out the point I was making: when a defender has nothing between him and the goal line except the ball he just intercepted, well.... That type of play sets him up perfectly https://www.footballperspective.com/interceptions-are-much-more-likely-to-be-returned-for-touchdowns-now/
  13. I don't care. Its a horsefeathering stupid play call. And no way that's true unless they are saying it only about the Seahawks. I never seen someone hate a staple of every NFL and college playbook so much. I hate all versions of that type of pass: in the flat with a good opportunity for the DB to jump the route. When they do and do it right, they go the other way for 6. It seems easier for a D to score on that type of play than any other because the DB (usually one of the fastest guys on the D) is left with the ball with no one in between him and the goalline
  14. I know Wilson isn't bad. But I see an offensive coordinator position opening up Monday. That O line is a mess. Wilson can escape pressure from one rusher, but not two, partly because he isn't good at throws that require a lot of zip into tight windows, and he makes some bad decisions in those situations too. ...but his mobility and deep ball touch are fantastic. He's still a top 5 QB, imo. His TD pass to Metcalf while scrambling was [emoji102][emoji102][emoji102]
  15. i dont care. If I were an OC, never in my life would I call a play in the flat like that. It seems like the % of them that go pic-6 is high. REALLY horsefeathering high. The announcers said that it was the first pick-6 on that type of play all season I don't care. Its a horsefeathering stupid play call. And no way that's true unless they are saying it only about the Seahawks.
  16. Not his fault. WR has to get a better block. OC has to do a better job designing the sceeen. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk i dont care. If I were an OC, never in my life would I call a play in the flat like that. It seems like the % of them that go pic-6 is high. REALLY horsefeathering high.
