    What is the "whip" stat for pitchers? how is it calculated? I see this term all over the msg board, and I have been to shy to ask, but I REALLY GOTTA KNOW.

    I honestly see Dunn's OBP going down and SO going up with a small boost in AVE if he came to the Cubs, a la Baker. I also wouldnt want to trade 3-4 of our best prospects for him. we would have to give up a healthy Guzman + to get the guy, and we dont have that. If he had to be traded, and it was between LA and us, i would say 70%chance hses in Dodger Blue, 30% chance hes in Cubbie Blue do to the Dodgers supply of upper shelf pitching prospects.

    honestly, I think you can add Barrett Wood Williams maybe Maddux (unless released after July 31) but I'm all for a shake up

    he did give up a sac fly that tied the game up, so that is probably why. I'm pretty sure that anytime a reliever blows a lead at any point in the game it technically counts as a blown save. a sac fly? huh.

    can someone explain how Sisco got a blown save? Sisco (BS, 1) 0.2 0 0 0 1 0 0 1.74 (the "1" is a BB......)

    I once saw EPATT helping an elderly lady cross the street in Peoria. When an UPS truck nearly hit them both, he refrained from flipping the driver off, continued to assist the old hag, and then chased down the brown menace, turning it over in the street and ripping the evil delivery man's head off. edit: Everyone clapped and gave him high-fives.
