  1. Not that its surprising but Kramer went against the final play. The ball was supposed to go to Moore for the final shot.
  2. There's a good reason he struggled.
  3. I'm working very hard to reconcile the first two sentences here. He means that he normally picks the Sweet Sixteen (first two rounds) very well but then fails at getting picks after that. This year he didn't get many Sweet Sixteen teams and isn't in good shape because he normally doesn't pick well after that.
  4. Kramer. Word.
  5. Moore better never have the ball in his hands at the end again. He doesn't have good enough handles. LewJack should have it and then pass it off after penetrating (or take shot if wide open).
  6. I'm a big fan of refs that don't necessarily call charge or block every single time bodies collide in the paint. That said, if you're going to do that then you shouldn't call some of the touch fouls I've seen called. Exactly. Either call it close (which I hate) or don't. Stop waffling. On a side note Texas A&M is showing NBA teams why JaJuan isn't ready for the pros.
  7. Apparently you can run into a planted defender and raise your elbow and not have a foul called. I really don't like these refs. They call ticky tact crap and then allow that to go uncalled. Call it consistently.
  8. 14-0 in free-throws. Texas A&M should have more free-throws because they have gotten deeper in the paint but 0? Really?
  9. Yeah suck it. We were both No. 1 overall seeds but we are still alive ... err wait you were the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament instead of NIT. Damn. The way I look at it the Illini playing in the NIT is a plus, they're most likely going to play in at least two more games. Getting Paul, Richardson and Griffey more playing time buildng towards the future. Even had they made the NCAA they probably would have been bounced in the 2nd round - next few seasons are for the NCAA FF, etc. Sure it is a benefit to get those guys playing time. It's not that you are excited about the games in the NIT or even that you are happy Kansas lost. It's the comment about Self watching Illinois play since his team is done already that I found humorous. It's like a guy in fantasy football making fun of the regular season champ for being upset because your team won and will be playing in the consolation bracket championship.
  10. From a friends Facebook status: "Wake Forest will beat Kentucky. Either tonight or when the win is vacated in 3 years."
  11. Yeah suck it. We were both No. 1 overall seeds but we are still alive ... err wait you were the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament instead of NIT. Damn.
  12. It was one of the dumbest and most ill-advised shots I could imagine. It was worse than McConnell's banked-in three earlier today. I prefer calling it cold blooded. I prefer to call it a sharp shooter being wide open and getting time to get completely set and thus it being a pretty good shot. I would say that shot had as much chance of going in as if he pulled it back and they tried to get a 2.
  13. I was just thinking that if I had a paper bracket, I'd be preparing to set it on fire That's was my thought as well which is why I posted it. My bracket is toast. Although so are many others. Saw an ESPN thing where either 31.7% or 41.7% (can't remember which) picked Kansas to win it all which is the highest percentage since they have had brackets on their site.
  14. :flame: My bracket is on the left.
  15. What's he saying? I made a bracket going solely off of who he had ranked higher. So far it is tied with my own bracket.
  16. Do we want to try and get some donations for prize packages? I can throw in the signed cards and baseball I got from the 2008 contest. I don't do anything with them so maybe someone else would appreciate them more.
  17. Are you guys doing this for 2010? If so could I get involved? The minor leagues have really grown on me the last couple years and I enjoy doing things like this.
  18. There were no remarkable upsets today. Cornell over Temple was not that huge of a surprise as many people picked it. Sure, you gotta get lucky, but it's not like an Ohio over Georgetown type game occurred today. It was mostly about the no sweet sixteens are out in his bracket.
  19. I'll be rooting for St. Mary because I picked Richmond to upset Nova.
  20. Assuming the double-digit leads hold I will finish up OK for the first round. Yesterday I only got 10 of 16 and lost 3 Sweet Sixteen teams. Today I went 13/16 and lost no Sweet Sixteen teams.
  21. Anyone else having issues with CBS today. Every other website loads perfectly fine but everything on CBS won't load for me 9/10's of the time. This includes a fantasy league, the home page, the CBB scores page and the game feeds.
  22. Would you look at that ... we agree on something.
  23. That's a pythag record of 94-68. Ouch. Oh crap, did I put 634? I meant 734... [expletive] typo!!!!!! Changed Gotcha, good call. I always forget to do Pythag. I just did it for mine and I am spot on in my prediction of 91 wins. When you are good, you're good.
