  1. Brokeback diamond Or Forbidden Balls. :shaking: I just choked from laughing so hard. That is absolutely beautiful.
  2. Ain't gonna happen. I'm in agreement with goony on this one.
  3. Is it just me, or does it seem like the Cubs are constantly coming from behind (late in games) against mediocre pitching? If this is truly the case; it does not bode well for our offense.
  4. Lee: .303/.417/.588 37HR/111 RBI Carpenter: 19-9, 3.07 ERA, 1.19 WHIP Take it for what it's worth. It's not like I won the predictions contest last year or anything.
  5. Are the Cubs the only team in professional sports without a team chiropractor? My Lord, it's a back strain.
  6. Not as green as you are with jealousy and envy Why would he be jealous? Pierre>Edmonds. Alsonotreally. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I know, not a fair comparison. If Pierre is the sparkplug Eck is for the Cards he will make a huge difference for the Cubs. But there's going to be a lot of people stretching doubles into triples with that arm. I don't really understand this. When the ball clears the fence isn't it a HR? With the injuries we have, and thus the staff we're forced to send out; Pierre will more than likely be watching the balls go way over his head. :(
  7. .... or both ? Well, shucks, if YOU say so. :) Would I lie to you ?? Well.............you are a man, so?
  8. That better continue into the regular season! I'm calling 200 RBI in the predictions contest! Didn't the guy who won that thing last year run away with it? He must have been a genius, or a typical pessimistic Cub fan. .... or both ? Well, shucks, if YOU say so. :)

  10. That's exactly what I thought, and said. He said he's source was an agent, but didn't name names. Like I said this man is not the type of guy to do this, but he seemed positive it was going to happen. Well see soon, I guess. EDIT: If he is correct, he'll be getting appointments whenever he wants, no waiting. :D
  11. Maybe this is already a rumor that is gaining some strength, but I thought I'd put it out there anyways. I was talking with a patient earlier this morning, who happens to "know people", and informed me he had some inside information. He said that Clemens was very likely going back to the Yankees, almost a definite. I've talked with this man about baseball before at length, and he's always been very knowledgeable about the game, I just don't know about this "inside information". However, he's not the type of person to pass on bogus information just to get a rise. So, take it for what it's worth. I thought it was interesting, and thought some of you might also. I don't normally do this kind of thing, but if this guy is wrong, you can pummel me.
  12. Absotively. I'm all for high expecations and whatnot, but let's give it a while before we judge where these guys are at mentally. Every spring you hear stories of increased focus, attention to detail, players in the best shape of their life, and it's not easy, at least for me, to buy this stuff when you've heard it all before. ....and we have our winner. Bob, tell him what he's won. Well Chip, Goony has won an entire year's worth of heartache, misery, and complete disappointment.
  13. Mine. Just kidding. Seth hooked me up twice and the second confirmation took quite a while if that's what you're wondering.
  14. My sentiments exactly. Thanks again, Seth.
  15. Well he's done it for a ton of us here, and we have his name, phone number, and location. He's been on the site for some time, I don't think you should have an issue. If so, dispute the charges, and find him. J/K. If you were in his boat, wouldn't you do the same for fellow Cub fans? I know I would.
  16. I live in Iowa City, work in Cedar Rapids. Wasn't sure if the "Edward K." thing was just a joke or if you really did time there.
  17. That was not Wrigley by the way. My urinal at work isn't there either. Very good. Are you in Indy?
  18. Just wanted to let everyone know that Seth took great care of me, and hooked me up with some tickets for the Tigers game on 6/17. Thanks Seth, I owe you.
  19. Last year I was in within 30 minutes got Red Sox tix, and then again 20 minutes later for WSox. This year, nada. Karma is a female dog I guess.
  20. I don't know if it qualifies, but I just went to the restroom without incident. Meaning nothing came out? You should see someone about that. Meaning no urinal dives, nobody was seriously injured or killed, and more importantly, I feel much better. That was not Wrigley by the way.
  21. What game are you trying for, Tree? ideally, id like to get tickets to 2 games in a weekend series during the summer. i dont care who they play. i think im currently trying for detroit. Me too. If you get in and aren't using the maximum tickets, I would reward you monetarily for the extra tickets.
  22. I don't know if it qualifies, but I just went to the restroom without incident. Meaning nothing came out? You should see someone about that. He's a doctor. You should listen to him. Not only that, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night.
  23. I don't know if it qualifies, but I just went to the restroom without incident. Meaning nothing came out? You should see someone about that.
  24. Shouldn't NSBB have some sort of clout or preferential treatment?
