  1. Let's not forget that the Brewers beat up these Pirates something like 36-1, and the Brewers have a pretty bad pitching staff. Sad thing is the Pirates have outscore the Cubs 28-11.
  2. I don't. In fact, most people I know don't either. If you say so, I believe ya.
  3. Mark Price and Brad Dougherty were guys I couldn't stand. Everybody has that one team in each sport, regardless if it's rationale or not, that they hate with a passion. For me it's Cleveland Cavs in basketball.
  4. Is that hard to believe? If those who believe the Bulls will not LBJ for really weak reasons (ie MJ's legacy, or the idea of "New York") then yes, they are anti-Bulls. But if someone can legitimately come with a strong argument to suggest tht LBJ won't go to the Bulls, then no I wouldn't consider then anti-Bulls. Until you start giving me a strong argument as to why Lebron won't stay in Cleveland, I'm considering you anti-Cavs I hate the Cavs, always have, always will. So yes, I am anti-Cavs, thank you. With that said, I think it is better for basketball if he stayed in Cleveland, but me being a Bulls fan/anti-Cavs fan wants to be greedy and kill off relevent basketball in Ohio for good, by taking Lebron.

  6. The only thing Beasley got going for him is that he is still on his rookie contract. And while that makes him more valuable then Deng, it doesn't make him all that valuable. And I agree with whoever said it, that is seems the ESPN is running the "Anybody but the Bulls" mentality, which is total bs. huh? ESPN is running with this Bulls story like nobody else and pushing the hell out of it... Broussard was on mike and mike 3 days in a row talking about how the Bulls are the favorite... Chad Ford put up an update last night 5 minutes after the Cavs lost saying that 3 GM's think LeBron is coming to Chicago... But then you got Avery Johnson, Jamal Mashburn, Rob Parker and Skip Bayless who believes LBJ will sign with another team not name the Bulls. So there is a stronger "anti-Bulls" contengient at ESPN right then "Pro-Bulls."

  8. Even tho Saban has told Starling he could play baseball at Bama, I think Bubba keeping Bama in his Top 4 is nothing more then for show.
  9. Watching Rob Parker and Skip Bayless talk Lebron James made my head hurt. Both said LBJ to Chicago would be stupid on LBJ parts. Their reasoning.....MJ's leacy. This is such an overblown issue. Parker predicts LBJ to the Nets because of his friendship to Jay Z. Yep, LBJ's future will be decided because of a friendship with a rap mogul, according to Parker. Nobody wants to play in Newark, not even the players on the Nets. Now if the Nets were moving to Brooklyn and their new stadium NEXT year, then yeah Nets makes alot of sense, but that 2 year stop over in Newark is a major strike against NJ. Bayless predictes LBJ to Miami because LBJ needs a "Batman" to his "Robin." His words not mine. Miami makes alot more sense then NY or NJ. 1: Miami could have the best coach between the 3 teams. 2: Miami could re-sign Wade, sign LBJ, and then use Beasley as the center piece to either land Amar'e, Bosh, or Boozer. With that said, I just don't see the value of Michael Beasley, imo. You can talk crap about Deng's contract, and that is negative value, but at least Deng has shown he can be a solid NBA player, unlike Beasley who is still label as "potential."
  10. That's not even half true. NY is by far the most pressured pack city in the U.S. And maybe outside of say Toronto or Montreal (in hockey) might be the most pressured city in North America. Now Chicago media can be rough, but they in no way is up there with NY in terms of pressure.
  11. So you in turn get nothing, just so you can make Lebron look like the bad guy? Not sure how that is best for the team or the city of Cleveland Cleveland's GM is screwed. Does he want to be known for the guy who traded LBJ OR the man who let LBJ leave for nothing? Damn if he do, damned if he don't.
  12. Am I the only one who thought it was strange fans were chanting New York Knicks when LBJ was at the line? Don't the Celts fans know the Knicks play in the same division as their beloved team, and would be rooting for him to NOT sign with the Knicks, who they would have to play at least 4 times a year? Boston fans are strange bunch.
  13. oh good lord... trying not to get excited, trying not to get excited... If GarPax lands LBJ and Bosh (Wade would be great, but redundant) this summer, I think I might go on a 5 day drinking binge.
  14. http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/15881/lebron-to-the-bulls-3-gms-think-so Whoa....
  15. Did anybody hear what Squeaky Avery said about Lebron's possible next team? He said on Lebron possibly to Chicago: Is he serious? Lebron won't go to Chicago because he isn't sure how he would fit in playing with Rose, yet he would essentially be a perfect compliment to Devin Harris? What a bunch of crock.
  16. http://sendlebrontochicago.com/ Oh lord. To me this is very similar approach that the Heat is taking with the "We want Wade" campaign.
  17. Yeah I saw that thread, and I pretty sure UMFan did too, and it hurt my head reading his reason. I did like the folks who basically told him to "don't like the door hit you, where god split you".
  18. I wonder if SSR knows his team has alot of Bulls fans hoping on the Celtic's bandwagon for tonight's game? At least I'll have somebody to blame Perhaps......I don't know..........Doc Rivers? Just spitballing. Danny Ainge for wasting his time with Nate Robinson rather than getting some depth in the frontcourt. I said Doc Rivers cause if you can't outcoach Mike FRIGGIN Brown, then you deserve to get fired. But Ainge is good choice, too.

  21. I'm kinda hoping for a rematch of the 1971 Stanley Cup.
  22. Kyle Farnsworth says..... The "napping incident" happens in every clubhouse. The only reason it's an issue is because of who was caught napping.
  23. IDK what teams offseason games plans are. I wish I had a job that allows me to including in finding out, but alas it's not to be. But believe it or not, Hinrich only has 2 years left remaining on his contract ($17 mill left on his deal), and considering that teams like the Lakers (Hinrich would be much better then Fisher/Farmar) have shown interests in the veteran guard, I would say there is better then 50/50 chance of Hinrich being traded. I don't know who though, but I do believe there will be a decent market for Hinrich. Now if the Bulls do the unthinkable and sign Lebron, I could see Allen jumping from Boston to Chicago. Otherwise, I see Allen staying in Boston.
  24. Boston is going to need a guard when Allen leaves. ;) Believe it or not, there is a decent market for Hinrich (I'm not so sure about Deng), so there is a remote possibility that Hinrich can be dealt.
