until he shows that he's not completely washed up, edmonds should not hit ahead of a guy OPS'ing over .800 Agreed. Reputation aside, Edmonds has been declining for a few yrs now, and he must prove he's worthy to hit above 8th i the lineup. But to be fair, if he gets to hit between ARam and Soto and DeRosa, it's possible Edmonds can still be semi-productive (.250-.260/.330/.410 productive). I'm not holding my breathe or anything, but I really hope he is productive, but I am not banking on it. So he should bat 8th, until he prove otherwise.
