I still don't understand how the message can get relayed in time the way they described it. When the Blue Jays got accused of having a guy in CF giving gestures, that's one thing, that's live and in the hitter's eye line. If I'm understanding this correctly, they watch a TV feed, someone up in a booth hits a button for the pitch type, which sends the message to the apple watch, which is relayed to the hitter somehow? They have literally seconds and I can't imagine sending some kind of signal to an apple watch getting there in time to do that. There's at least a couple second delay to that, yeah? I mean if they had some kind of box wired to the signalling device where it was being transmitted from, sure I guess... but a wireless transmission to an Apple watch?
