by ERA. by k/bb, he's sucking pretty hard I'm hoping it's a learning curve, but he does seem to have control issues (hence the 2WP and HPB in this game)
Gooch is back in training with Milan. Yeah as of last week full training. He's probably just as likely to get a game as Charlie before camp though. Not going to happen. Milan are currently third with no chance of catching the first two and with Sampdoria and Palermo breathing down their necks. They only have three games left to play: Fiorentina at home, Genoa away and Juve at home to close off the season.
The article doesn't mention what kind of sensors are used and how they are used to measure "fatigue" - I'd be interested to read about that.because I'm intrigued by how they do it.
LOL at the self-confidence bit; he's Dutch, so that comes naturally. I'll track which team he shows up with in the Dutch league (probably Rotterdam - his younger brother plays there)
Prior to the trade, none of the MI's on the roster could be sent down without clearing waivers (and/or their approval in some cases). This trade is as much about "getting something in return" as opposed to "losing somebody for nothing" imho.
Ah, thanks, Bruce. Bright man, choosing the Cubs over the Cards. And also a smart rule 5 pick by the Cubs (I have a hunch this scenario was in their minds when they made that pick)
Not necessarily. The Cubs have a number of players on the 40 man roster that can't be easily sent down (i.e. without clearing waivers or the right to refuse), so discussing possible trades to solve any problem of trimming down to 25 may not be as hypothetical as you would like to think.
