  1. I do like what I've seen from Darwin Barney today.
  2. The ump wanted to call an out regardless of outcome, and it was not an out. Thanks. That's what I thought, but as there was no replay I couldn't check.
  3. Replay opinion, anyone? My feed cut out immediately
  4. This is better. Now just keep it going, Cubs.
  5. Janish twisted his ankle running to third
  6. Time for some "clutch" hitting?
  7. think so. edit: he had a walk in 2008, first hit Reds announcer said so.
  8. Garza put some heat on that throw to Pena.
  9. I love day games at Wrigley; it's almost 9pm here. 8-)
  10. I hope Castro's left foot is OK; that looked painful.
  11. Game is live on TV in sunny Belgium. :yahoo: Sucks we get the Reds feed. :(
  12. No such luck, the better team goes to the final.
  13. It is over here. 8-)
  14. [expletive] This one is supposed to be live on TV here (mind you, Dodger feed from Fox) and as far as I can tell from the start of the broadcast it doesn't look good.
  15. First Cubs game of the year to be shown live on TV in Europe. :D I'll be at volleyball practice though, so I'll have to record it.
  16. That has all kinds of confusion going on. He did hit the batter though, so I'm not sure about that decision.
  17. OK, new rules for game threads: we need volunteers to rip on Coleman before every start. It seems to work just fine. :D
  18. Whatever his real stats may be, I'm hoping Casey Coleman can improve them tonight.
  19. UEFA have been using this system since 1999. In 2008, Man City qualified this way and managed to reach the quarter finals.
  20. A far stretch as far as "prospects" go, but anyway: Nick Martin (LHP 17th round pick in 2001 - dropped out at Daytona in 2004 after injury) signed with ADO of the Dutch league, who start their season next Thursday. Chris Mowday, a teammate for Daytona in 2004, will be back with RCH (also in the Dutch league) for a second year.
