  1. In Paris? That might not be as easy as you think.
  2. Maybe yet another twist: Jorge Soler May Be Using Haitian Papers
  3. at the answers to my question. Toonster will be happy with this pick.
  4. They were on a team-building trip in Curaçao (I kid you not) Pics here: http://www.az.nl/index.php?id=81
  5. In fine Cubs style  , Liverpool poaches away Brendan Rodgers from Swansea to be their new manager: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18235961
  6. Great; a rare live Cubs game on my TV and I get the eff'n Sox feed
  7. Kljestan needs a break anyway - Anderlecht just finished a packed schedule and he's played far too many games in a short period.
  8. The rest was just practical strategy. His team was fighting relegation and he got sent off. Might as well try to bait some City players into getting sent off to even the playing field. Almost worked. Micah Richards had to pull Balotelli away by the shirt. I hadn't thought of that. In that case Balotelli was indeed an obvious target.
  9. In fairness, Tevez was clearly baiting him on the television images just prior to the incident, and he got what he was looking for (i.e. Barton was sent off). The rest was obviously uncalled for.
  10. That was absolutely insane; watching the added time with the feed from Sunderland as an insert was priceless. No sane person could have written that script - both Mancini and Kompany still looked shocked in their post-match interviews.
  11. Sir Alex Ferguson eyes 'stupid' Manchester City result I don't think that'll happen, but I'll be watching the game just in case.
  12. That will feel like home to Real (except for the humidity) Do they play lots of games there in the summer that I'm not aware of? They start the season (both the league and the cup competitions) in august like most other European leagues, but your assessment of preferably preparing in a better environment is probably correct.
  13. That will feel like home to Real (except for the humidity)
  14. I'll take the win, but it's probably just as well they don't show all the Cubs games around here - that would be too much stress on this fan.
  15. Agreed - keeping him in the closer role is bad for the team, and bad for him as an individual. Using him in low-pressure situations is the obvious way to salvage something from that contract.
  16. From Cubs.com: The Cubs announced that Minor league infielder Edgar Gonzalez, 33, has been granted his release to pursue opportunities in Asia.
  17. Neither is Anderlecht. Because if Chelsea win the CL, they will have to play two preliminary rounds instead of going straight to the group stages of the 2012-2013 CL.
  18. Luke Sommer (2007 draftee that was released in 2011) somehow resurfaced in The Netherlands and signed with Corendon Kinheim in Haarlem.
  19. I honestly have no idea who the fourth string goalie is (i.e., the goalie who will "merely" be the back-up in an FA Cup Seminal Derby). Their fourth stringer is on loan to Hull, so I guess they are going to put one of their academy kids on the bench and just pray (both Bedford and Mersin are only 17)
  20. That would depend on your definition of a "Champion's League team": group stages or perennial semi-finalist teams?.
  21. That was probably the point of that tweet.
  22. CL draw: APOEL Nicosia v Real Madrid Olympique Marseille v Bayern München Benfica v Chelsea Milan v Barcelona I like that last match-up.
