We all have to make choices, and live with the consequences. You prefer not to look beyond the ASB (I'm not even going to bring up the rest of the decade), you just want a quick fix to the (admittedly painful) product on the field - aka the Jim Hendry way. The new front office has chosen a long -term strategy to fix the organization's problems and is sticking to that strategy. FWIW, I prefer this long-term approach, even if the immediate result is frustrating to watch on most days.
