    I think, given their system depth, that the Cubs can go after the best prospects possible, then maybe in the off-season use that depth to make moves for guys who are closer to impacting the ML roster

    Keith Law's list has a Cubs OF at 14. What is surprising about that is the fact that it is Kevin Alcantara at 14. PCA is 18, Horton 53, and Shaw 55. Law also named 19 people as honorable mention, including James Triantos. So by his reckoning, we've got 5 top-79 prospects.

    They officially launched a football version. Got 8/9 on my first one, only messed up a guess for Atlanta/Minnesota so I never got to guess one for Philly/Minnesota

    I think I'd make all those deals TT proposed. Kjerstad replaces Alcantara as an OF prospect. PCA going out makes it make sense to re-sign Bellinger. Cease replaces Steele in the rotation. Mayo gives a shot at a big bat for a corner or DH. And Cabrera and Kopech are good swings at impact pitching.

I don't see anything all that interesting about Bielak, and Gilbert seems fine from his stats page, but I don't know anything about him.

    Sure, Happ and Suzuki aren't going anywhere, but they're basically only producing league average numbers at the plate, and Happ's is OBP-heavy (which is obviously good, but the biggest problem - as you stated - is a lack of SLG). Also, if Madrigal is who he was for the last stretch between injuries, then maybe he's fine in the lineup, but again, it's without any real SLG at a position where you need SLG. You need to be shopping Madrigal for someone who thinks they need his contact bat in their lineup.

    I don't think a non-power 1B is appealing for the Cubs when we've already got corner outfielders who don't hit for much power and a hole at 3B
