  1. Coors is pretty picturesque too, and I've always liked PNC
  2. only 11 total ROY winners between the Sox and Mariners... I guessed all 4 of those as well. D'backs only have 9 with 100 rbi seasons and Marlins with 13, but at least they're a bit easier since they're more recent
  3. the 2nd one today I did pretty well at. Pretty sure it's my best rarity score yet at 58 I've found that the older players are, the less they're used even if they were huge stars. I used Frank Robinson for CIN/BAL earlier today and he was at like 5%
  4. I like it... it's been pretty easy for me to follow edit: though it wouldn't hurt for it to be in one thread
  5. Boy, that was an ugly game except for the beautiful ball from Jones on Vazquez's goal and the Canada goal. Turner came up huge in PKs. Always fun to beat Canada
  6. Taillon's strategy is apparently for the Yankees to hit missiles right at our outfielders all night
  7. So glad we've made Rodon throw 16 pitches in 2 innings in his first start of the season... really making him work, guys
  8. lol, they're absolutely still going to lose this game, aren't they?
  9. another nice play from Morel at 3rd... when it's all instinct/reaction, he seems to do better
  10. I think with the division being so bad this year, you give yourself as much time as possible to make this decision. Overall though, they need to be looking to probably consolidate some good, B-type prospects for some younger players who might move the needle a little more - not that I have any real idea who might be out there
  11. did this one twice today, using unique players for each set...
  12. Happ! 2 game (season?) saving throws in 2 innings!
  13. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/mike-trout-injury-who-will-angels-turn-to-in-the-outfield-eight-options-including-five-trade-candidates/
  14. Mike Trout fractured his hamate bone, which means he will be on the injured list through at least the trade deadline and possibly considerably longer than that. CBS Sports mentioned that Cody Bellinger is a possible replacement for an injured Trout. The Cubs have a difficult decision to make in Bellinger. If they're interested in offering him the qualifying offer, they can retain Bellinger in 2024 for roughly $20m or, if he declines the offer, Chicago can receive a supplemental draft pick in the 2024 MLB Draft. It should be noted that the Angels have a notoriously weak farm system, ranked 28th by MLB.com going into the 2023 season. View full rumor

  16. If it makes sense, would love to see Palencia directly follow Hendricks today. Talk about a contrast in stuff
  17. I just think they can't get nearly enough for Zach to make them feel like it's worth it. He's not good enough that a bad team is going to give up lots of picks, and most of the good teams won't give up good young players in return. Best you're going to get is far off draft picks and lottery ticket-type players, and I'm sure Reinsdorf isn't interested in that because they're almost a playoff team with what they've got, and can stumble their way into that sweet extra playoff revenue.
  18. I remember watching that Marrero injury... looked ugly when it happened
  19. Lol, Portland gave Jeremi Grant like $160M/5 and Dame requested a trade today.
